“I can only offer an observer's opinion of this facility. I was there several weeks ago as one of several guest speakers from a local nonprofit organization. Another charitable group gathered there to introduce mothers and daughters to options for places they can volunteer over the next six years to fulfill their goals. While I waited for my turn to speak, I checked out the large main room, filled with bright, colorful art projects. Mostly paintings were featured, since they're easy to hang. Still, I could see that other types of art mediums are taught. My understanding is that this is a popular destination for kids' birthday parties, though I could see it as a gal pals' get-together spot, too. I hadn't heard of them before being given the address to come for the event. I was really impressed with finding such a fun, inspiring resource in the community for artists of all ages to release their creative juices.”

“Attended a private greeting card making event at this location. Created 10 greeting cards with my Crafty Connections moderator and 2 other attendees. The facility is great for crafting events due to table space, restroom and kitchen availability. Was able to heat the room, since it was quite chilly that morning. During summer can be a bit stuffy, but AC can be used to cool the main room area. Street parking adequate. We brought in lunch from Chipolte, and spent the day creating our cards. This is the second event I've attended here for card making. Will definitely come back for more card events like this.”

“Ended up taking my massive Michael Jordan Dunk Contest canvas poster to this small business. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted by Tim, the owner. I really cannot say enough good about him and this store. Very helpful in picking out a nice frame for my picture and gave a very reasonable price for the finished product. Took a little less than a week to complete. After all was said and done, I could not have asked for a better job done. The frame itself came out perfectly. The glass cover was superb. This frame and the work done on it was worthy of even MJ himself, the greatest to ever lace em’ up. I would recommend anyone who wants a quality product to stop by and get a quote. It’s worth every penny.”

“Nice! A new contemporary art gallery in Westlake! Marion Wood (affiliated with Studio Channel Islands in old towne Camarillo and TAG Gallery in Bergamot Station in Santa Monica) is a multi-faceted artist who is currently focussing on largish image scapes. The colors are vivid, the black on whites are beautifully understated, and some of the paintings use familiar items, such as coffee beans, for added texture. Interesting and inviting! Give her a look.”
