Self-Serve Power Wash is a solid and decent self carwash, described as the best on this side of the bay. It offers a great car wash rate and is very convenient and inexpensive, with vacuums costing a dollar for a few minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful to new customers. The location is neat and does not feel dangerous, even late at night. However, some equipment does not always work, and the tri-color foam is considered a budget foam. There is no air dryer, so bring your own towels. The exit area has gravel and debris, which can be frustrating after cleaning. Customers should also be prepared with quarters for payment.
Needed a vacuum urgently but didn’t want the expense of a full interior detail. The vacuum was a dollar for a few minutes. The vacuum is not strong, but it got the job done. It was very convenient and inexpensive.
