“Had fury 4 clawed visitors in kitchen and backyard recently. Came here to get some snacks for them to chew on. Associates here were helpful. The self check out had associates ringing up sales. Didn't know that one can't tap pay terminal. It's either slide or insert card into slot. Pricing of the mouse snack (8.95) is standard thruout the industry as it's essential a duopoly between 2 big nationwide chain stores. The product was working as soon i placed it against a door corner. Didn't need to open package. Just bringing in jnto the house deterred the fury critters from visiting again. Coincidentally a female cat who "claims" our house is hers by defecating all over same was standing at our backdoor sliding door. No doubt she wants credit for our visitors vanishing. I know an opportunistic cat when i see 1.”

“Haas had a romantic and warm soul. Perfect spray for the funeral I am hosting. I feel very happy for my loved one, as a immigrant, he got such a beautiful flower spray from a 70+ old man. When I first come to the store, it is a bit dark, and does not not look as morden and beautiful as other florist store. After double check, I found that Haas store flowers inside fridges here and there. And the flower is amazing, I love the color tone, it is perfectly matched, white, but not all white, very elegant, shows his taste. Also, I did not image that he would use as much as 92 flowers for the spray, much more than he committed. During this sad time, I really feel the sincere caring from a professional florist. He may look casual, but is really an expert from 40+ years practice. Also, he stayed up late to deliver it on time. I find I trusted this right person. If you are new to spray and wreath, like I was, you can check with florist about the numbers of flowers, the dimension of the work, and the condition of raw flowers in the store to see if the color and freshness is as your expected. hope that works. I compared several store, Haas had the best offer, and he deliver more than he offered. I hope he can make more pictures for the flowers he had made, so that it helps customers understand his capabilities, rather than miss this hidden gem by the store decoration.”

I believe I know all the outlets for native plant sources in the SF Bay Area. This one is always a rotation of fresh surprises and for myself. over time, a learning and experimentation experience. Along with Google as a source, Judy always has good insight and instincts WRT the parameters for native gardener interest - a plants: deer resistance, drought tolerance, lighting requirements, soil types etc. Prices here are also very competitive which one would not expect given the "Palo Alto" address.”

“My wife and I have undertaken the daunting job of upgrading our home.The first thing on the list was our kitchen appliance suite.We shopped many stores and purveyors of appliances... and I mean MANY.Our first replacement was the refrigerator. We found that this HD store and its service, personnel and subcontractors, stands apart.As indicated, we shopped refrigerators and ended up back at this HD store. Our decision was a result of selection, the sales personnel and after sales service.We purchased the refrigerator and it was installed. We were totally pleased.We then, a month later, shopped for a dishwasher. Once again, shopped around. Ended up back at this store. Again, totally satisfied.Stove/oven, same process. Done.Clothes washer, busticated. Same process, ended up at this store..... more to come... Later.”

“I want to give a shout out to an employee either from the indoor garden dept. Or the lumber dept. His name is Brent. Yesterday I went to buy my dad garden gloves. The employee in the outside garden area told me they were in the inside garden dept. All I could find there was a small display of only one type but not the ones I wanted. I found a young Gentleman in the area named Brent. I asked him if there were any different ones. He stopped what he was doing and took me to an entirely different area, near the tool isle I think. He showed me where they had a variety of gloves and explained to me that there are different uses for different types of gloves. He pointed out the ones that said for general uses. Those were the ones I went there for. I never would have found them had I not asked him. The fact that he stopped what he was doing to walk me over to them rather than just telling me what isle they were on, showed me : example of how customer service is supposed to be. It's hard to come by that anymore. So thank you very much Brent from the indoor garden dept. Or lumber dept? I'm sorry I forgot which one it was. I left a happy customer!!”
