I recently had a bad experience with Kin at Newark United Auto Body Inc. I was charged more than the initial estimate, and additional items were added to my bill without any prior discussion. Furthermore, the business wrongfully applied sales tax to labor fees! To make matters worse, the pricing was deliberately underestimated to attract my business, only for the final amount to be significantly higher. Despite bringing these mistakes to his attention, he refused to correct the errors on my bill and offered no resolution. The entire experience was not only frustrating but also disrespectful, leaving me extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the treatment I received. After getting my Tesla Model Y back from his shop, I noticed a strange, quaky sound while driving. To my dismay, it seems he only addressed the exterior appearance, completely ignoring the underlying issues. I have to find another professional auto body shop to check my vehicle again, I don't even want to go back to this shop anymore!

The trunk spring of my car broke and fell on my head when I am reaching for items in the trunk.Based on recommendations from a Fremont Chinese Facebook group, I brought the car to Kin.I arrive at the shop around 5PM and he started working on it right away. Kin was very frank with me that he may not be able to fix it but he will try and if he cannot fix it, he will not charge me, something I have never heard of in this day.When I arrived at the shop it was one hour before his closing time and after working on it for about an hour, he asked me to leave the car, go home and he will spend more time on it tonight.An hour later, he called and let me know it is fixed. We live nearby so very happy to come back and pick up the car.There is no high tech tool that can be used for this. He had to rip most of the stuffs out of the trunk in order to fix it. Mostly elbo greese. When I arrived at the shop, I can tell he was very sweaty from working on the spring.For a small job like that, he spent over two hours on it and charged me a very reasonable prices. I am very lucky to have met Kin. He is a honest and hard working man. I will definately return for more business.

I had the worst body shop experiences here. I recommend getting 1 or 2 second opinions before going here. I caught this body shop lying, kin the Autobody shop owner is not honest,Be carful spending your money here, and be carful bringing your family’s vehicles here. He does not care about you, only about his profits I have experienced first hand.He even says excuses where his English is not good? But when I was speaking with him. I understand every thing he said to me. I caught him in more then 3 lies. Go here at your own risk.

Fast and Reliable service! You can count on Kin's awesome job. My car was hit by the corner and Kin saw it, immediately replied no problem. He is very professional and I am super happy of my car. Thank you!

I had damaged my car backing out of my garage. The bumper came off and my friends had told me to buy bumper brackets to put the bumper back on. I didn't want to put in an insurance claim since it's all my fault. I was referred to Kin and was very pleased with his honesty and quality for the money. He told me that I had parts missing under the bumper and the bumper was damaged and would not stay installed. The part of the bumper to hold to the brackets was stripped. He was very patient, explained and showed me what he was talking about. He gave me different prices depending on which option I choose. I just expected the parts to be installed and the new bumper put on but the car looks new after he was done with it! It ran better than before he got a hold of it! He even washed my dirty car! I definitely recommend him for any auto body work that you need done!

I hit something on the highway that fell off a pickup truck. The passenger side was all scratched and my tie rods were bent out of shape. I was recommended this shop by my mechanic in Fremont. This shop not only did the work quoted through insurance, they also fixed a small dent on the driver side, and re waxed my hood! They did a phenomenal job, and even pointed out that I had a small chip on the passenger side where the paint wouldn't stick. This tells me they are detail oriented. I knew the chip was there beforehand, it came from a pointed object that almost pierced the metal, which means there's no surface for the paint to stick

I have brought three of our cars to this place and they have done an absolutely amazing job, all for unbeatable prices. The owner is extremely professional and knows exactly what he's doing. Would highly reccomend!

My Honda was rear-ended last year and it completely totalled the car due to the bashed in trunk. However, the engine and frame of the car were still in working condition. A friend had referred me to Kin's shop and we were told that he would need to take some time on it to get it right with a quote of 2-3 weeks. The car was done after a week! Not only can you not tell that it was in an accident, but the car itself had also been detailed and waxed. It was cleaner than I could ever get it. Earlier this year, my parent's Lexus was also hit in a parking lot and we immediately brought the car over to Kin to take care of. We had left the car there for over a month since my parents were out of town and did not need the car, so this allowed ample time for Kin and the team to get the car in top condition. When we picked it up, it looked good as new!

Just called to try to get an estimate on a auto body repair. The person who answered the phone picked up and said "hello" as if I had I just called their personal number. When I asked if this was a body shop they replied with a very short "yes". I said that I would like to get an estimate on a auto body repair. There was a very long silence I asked to make sure the person was still there. The person then proceeded in a very rude manner to tell me that I needed to tell him what was wrong or he could not help me. I just told him that I would call someone else because it surely sounded like he didn't want to be bothered. Hopefully the next person that calls this body shop doesn't get the pleasure to talk to the the very rude individual on the business side of that phone.

-I was sitting at the light and was rear ended badly, and badly injured. The bumper and muffler was damaged and needed some body work. So we went to newark united auto body for there professional assistance. -I'll be truthful, I don't know anything about automotive body, so I let the insurance and the body shop discuss damages and prices because they are the professionals not us. Due to me being hit, we are not paying out of pocket. And this being my first major car accident I am clueless of what needs to get done. -The insurance and body shop found more then 10,000 dollars in repairs. I was shook by cost of damages. -After my insurance leaving and issuing a check, the owner Kin privately verbally noted there's cheaper ways of fixing my car? -I then felt worried and skeptical and trusting this body shop. But then the owner Kin offered us a discounted and a check of $1000.00 so he can fix the car. But he noted the trunk will be a used part and we agreed to that verbally that was ok, And what Kin and and farmers discussed and quoted to fixed 100%. -We approve all work being done with out any short cuts due to it being a 2015 bmw 535i. We shook hands and agreed. But we felt why would he offer short cuts, when this car is brand new? -Farmers was great, they gave us a 5 star service. No head ache it all. -Newark united auto body ended up repairing the job. -The car came back looking cleaned up and out side was replaced and painted. -but due to all the major damage being internal we and covered by the bumper and trunk, we felt worried that this car isn't safe to drive. We did see parts looks used, and we don't understand and what to make sure all work was honestly done. -So we ended up going back to newark united autobody, only requesting invoice and paper work. -The owner of Newark United Auto Body would not want to offer any assistance, and decline to help us. And demanded we get off his property? And he demanded if we wanted a laywer, he can get us one? -So we have no choice, but to ask help from the bureau of auto-body to help us exactly confirmed what was done to our family vehicle. And help us with all paper work questions, because we honestly only wanted to be treated with respect and good service. And needing to understand more what was exactly done to our family car. We don't like writing 1 star reviews but we feel like we are being left with no help and have no choice but to write about experience from this business. We would not lie to do anything wrong to any one, we just want to make sure and understand more what exactly was fixed on our bmw at Newark United Auto Body. -All we wanted was all invoices and detail of description of and assistance of quality and safety performed. -ant questions just send me msg and I'll answer all questions. Kin is very honest. Doesn't try to earn extra money from you. He gave me best quote for spoiler repair on my Mazda CX-9 and did very immaculate job. He also was very flexible with timing and communication. Great guy to get service from. Thanks Kin

I have been coming here and referring my friends to Kin since 2011, when I first heard about United Auto Body from a trusted mechanics friend of mine. Ever since my first repair, I have been coming back every time I get into an accident. Kin can fix major damages like they have never happened and minor dents/scratches at a very reasonable price. Kin is also a very kind/considerate person who will go out of his way to give you good, genuine advises. Knowing Kin surely takes some stress off from having an accident.
