Had a nail in the tire and took my car to Newark Tire & Auto Service for repair. The person at the front desk (rude of me to not ask for his name) helped us check the tire. Turns out the nail was only attached to the tire superficially and not a real puncture. All in all it only took 5 minutes and I was good to go. Didn't charge us for inspection and he even explained why certain puncture is repairable while others are not. Very friendly and good customer service.

Edit - I recently brought my vehicle in for a battery change and oil change. They completed the work very quickly, and noticed a small oil leak coming from my oil pan. I was very appreciative of this information and will definitely have that work done at this shop as well. Thank you!

Cannot recommend oil change/tire rotation here, will take 4-5 hours just to do oil change. Cannot get price over the phone, although when i came they did not look at my vehicle at all, just asked me the year and model of my vehicle ; in which i can explain over the phone.

Went in for a tire pressure check, and Andre was awesome! He quickly did what was needed, and I was off in about 10 mins. This place is under new management now and I recommend giving them a try.

after knocking doors on several places, even the one in the next corner the one with 2 Ws in his name like “Wheel Works” or so, Newark Tire & Auto Service were the ones able to fix my pinched tire, they did great and the guy in the front desk is nice to talk with, we had little conversation about lowering springs and sport suspensions, replica wheels for my car too, it was like for 15 mins or so and i ended up wanting to go back to improve even more the stance of my car, in this place they treat you like a human being, keep the good work guys!!!

Don''t choose this place, not worth the time. I went with my 2 tires. The guy claims it is different tread (than the other 2 tires, he will not install - I showed him that I have been driving with 2 set of different tires). I even asked what is difference, he didn't bother to explain.

I wouldn’t ever come and get my car serviced here. EVER! I needed my AC fixed and they charged 800 total for tests when I could have just gotten my oil changed and filters replaced for 200 like I have in the past. SAVE your money and go somewhere else that will actually give you a solution, not waste your one off day and charge you for nothing. Go to America’s tires for better care I will never trust this place again.
To anyone thinking “but there are so many better reviews” out there! Please STOP!!! Save your money and go somewhere else. These people put bandaids on problems they don’t provide any solutions. The few reviews that are bad are worth listening to! Save your money.

Excellent communication, and great service. I brought in my vintage BMW to get its aftermarket AC system working again and they helped me diagnose the issues and were patient with me wanting to replace the damaged parts myself before flushing the system and recharging it. Now it works better than it did before it ever stopped working and blows a cool 39°F.

Got a full inspection, and they provided a detailed report on recommended repairs, including several issues they thought needed immediate attention. Since I didn't notice the car drive weird, and there were no lights on the dashboard, I asked the person at the front desk which services he thought I needed immediately. He just listed an oil change and said the other repairs were not urgent - I appreciated the honesty of the manager but thought if they weren't urgent, the mechanic did not need to list the repairs as such. Then I got a second opinion, and they didn't think shocks or strut replacement (the most expensive repair recommended to me) was necessary, and neither did any of my coworkers who are knowledgeable about cars. Also, I reviewed the owner's manual and found that, although Newark Tires listed some repairs that were unnecessary as confirmed by second opinions, they failed to recommend a transmission fluid change and a spark plug replacement.
Positives about this place are that the customer service is good, they are timely and polite, and they gave me some discounts.

First time customer. Been looking for a good local auto service place. These guys are great. Booked my appointment online. Got my inspection results online via a texted link. The report was very detailed and easy to read. A few minutes later I received a link to an online estimate with prices for each of the various issues which needed repair. The estimate allows you to pick and choose which repairs you'd like done. A quick online search showed that their prices were very competitive. I needed a lot done and thought they wouldn't complete everything in one day. I have an old 2002 vehicle and was prepared for them to say they didn't have certain parts. Wasn't a concern. Not only did they finish everything, but they also waited for me past closing time and gave me a bigger discount than the service special discount advertised on their website. Friendly. Efficient. Affordable. I found my new car place!

I had called regarding an oil change/tire rotation. Owner mentioned that if I could get it there by 2pm, he’d get it done before COB. I show by 2pm and I’m told he can’t do it. Very frustrating. I show back up the next morning, and get the oil change completed. While at the shop my driver side door is scratched. After sending pictures, owner refuses to take responsibility. Check your vehicle before leaving the shop.
