This shop is located in the mall and easy to find, comparatively speaking. It's right next door to a Starbucks store as well, so that was neat. The store was organized and had a lot of different products to offer.

Very nice small shop inside New Park Mall (Newark). They have many day to day use products with reasonable prices. They reduced house products and have more items for toddlers now. They should keep more home goods again will be good.

So one of my friends texted me to let me know that she was having a birthday party for her daughter and it was a few days later. Since I didn't feel like driving far, I drove to this location to see if I can find anything. The store was super clean and organized. After a few minutes of walking around the store, I was able to find something that was super cute and that it matched the party's theme. The prices were super reasonable for quality of the item I purchased.

This store tricks customers by making it seem like the goods are made in Japan and charges premium prices, but this store is, in fact, Chinese with cheaply made knock-off products. Scummy.

I love Miniso! This is a smaller location. I've been to other locations that seem to be bigger with more options but beggars can't be choosers. Newpark Mall is one of the worst malls in our regional area, I think. As Fremont, Newark, Union City grows into a desired location to live, our retail needs to keep up. Sadly, except for some relatively decent restaurants and a nice movie theatre, this mall is basically a ghost town. It's not moving along with the times! Please take over Westfield and bring in the good stores like down in Valley Fair, Santa Clara! But, seeing Miniso here is encouraging! Not that Miniso can keep up with the likes of Valley Fair, it is a fun, cute shop that makes me think we are "keeping up" by bringing fresher well known stores. Probably a false security but being that Newpark is so awful anything will help. Miniso products are generally equivalent to Daiso, maybe a step up as the prices can be a bit more than the general Daiso $1.50. But their goods are a little bit different so it is a nice spot to shop for some "from Asia style" type of goodies. It's fun to see BT21, Hello Kitty and many other character type goods It's also a good spot to find inexpensive gifts for friends (no matter the age). On this particular day, I did come here in search of a journal or some good stationary. They did have a small selection but not enough for me to make that purchase. I did end up walking out with other items I didn't know I needed. Haha!
