I went to this shop after being cheated by other zabiha halal shops for selling bad chicken many times. I was referred by a well know Mufti to this store and they also sold bad chicken which had awful smell in it to me. The person on the counter denied and didn't take the chicken back. I had to throw $ 70.00 chicken in garbage and decided not to eat any chicken. We have stopped eating chicken 7 months now. So be aware of the chicken they sell. They proudly display HFSAA certification and cheat on people. If you buy Chicken please smell it before paying. Being a muslim you should follow proper shariah law or close your business.

Meat is good and they have decent variety of spices and other desi stuff. The new kid at the counter is super nice but one of the staff member is quite rude, some times he deals at the meat area.

Goat meat is expensive compared to other halal meat stores. It’s my stupidity that I didn’t ask the price of goat shoulder before cutting it into pieces. I assumed the regular price as other places have. That’s my mistake. There is no price tag so please be aware of that final bill can give a shock after buying everything. I’m giving extra star for good job on cutting the meat only. Originally the store name was Faisal market. Not sure why they change that name to 786 Market. I have asked if it’s under new ownership. But the person at register said nothing has been changed except the name. Anyway apart from the high price, the store floor was dirty and water everywhere coming from meat handling area. I see high risk of contamination.

Meat is expensive. Mixed goat has many bones and less meat. Prices are costly for groceries too. Very less vegetables. Don't understand why 4.3 rating for this shop.

Definitely a 5 star meat place for me. I love halal meat and I can say I finally found my number 1 in east bay. Their front desk people are very friendly and no arrogance. Good job y'all.
