As CVS Pharmacy is the only traditional pharmacy in Newark, CA , I still believed that the pharmacy is doing its best by accommodating & giving vaccinations to valued customers of Newark and wanting their prescriptions filled out. I am of the feeling that this store exists continuosly only because of the value of the pharmacy and not of the products & food being sold in there which are also available elsewhere near the city. Yes, they need to do a pretty tough work to make this bigger store a customer friendly, complete & competitive in pricing & availability. The CVS brand store is already an advantage, they simply have to remake the store image and do better in their service and ease of shopping.

This is the worst CVS ever or worst store ever. No one helps. No one comes. There are buttons for customer service but they don't work. No one response to those buttons. I waited for a long time. No one came. All the people were working in the next aisle and I called their name but they didn't come. I wish I could give less than one star but that's not possible to

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I ordered online and my pickup was cancelled without any explanation. I called the store several times and they very rudely hung on me. The store regularly runs out of stock for very common items and medications. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Waste of time, money, and effort.

The staff are impatient and unkind. My girlfriend had a disposable camera developed in December and they said it should be done in 2 weeks. We called in 3 weeks and the staff were rude, yelling at her that the disposables would take a month. We called again today (2 months after the disposables were given to them), and the employees could not find the pictures and claimed that the pictures hadn't been delivered yet. They are not reliable for any business, and the staff are rude for no reason. I do not recommend coming here, especially if you need to develop pictures.

FYI- the hours posted in my map app are for the pharmacy, not the main store. The main store is open til 11pm.

Are these guys getting ready to close down? The store looks ravaged like in a dystopian movie, shelves empty of products, management of it seems an afterthought. I was encouraged to use the self-checkout for 5 items of which I was prompted to request a bag per item scanned and was prompted for cashier assistance twice. I self check out at Costco, Walmart and Target, and it's a smooth easy process, not at CVS . Later, I went home and found the stuff I needed from Walmart and Target. I am definitely not trekking through CVS again.

No public restroom because water has been “turned off.” If there isn’t any running water, legally store needs to be closed. Nothing on shelves. Might as well close store down because there is no business to be done here. Would put zero stars, if possible.

The doctor (mid aged Asian male) today here at the minute clinic was very nice. While I noticed that someone in the vaccination line didn't have insurance, then this CVS charged her more than 60 dollars for Flu and more than 100 dollars for Covid. I believe that Covid should be free regardless of insurance, and the same Flu vaccine at Costco only costs 19.99 dollars. I asked the doctor why the Flu here is so expensive, the doctor told me that here in this CVS the min charge for vaccines is 40 dollars. This is ridiculous and totally unfair. If you don't have a good insurance, just go somewhere else that provide the same vaccines at a much lower price.

Unprofessional. They sent me the messages that said my order was ready to pickup 3 days ago. Then today I came I still had to wait for 30 minutes even no one was waiting before me. What does the “ready” mean for people in this store? Don’t wait people’s time like that. It happened to me once before when I had to came 3 times to get my order ready after receiving their messages about my ready order. I thought just give this store one more try but now I am sure that I will never comeback.

The workers here are annoying, specially this one lady who always comes up to me and my friends whenever we come to CVS to buy things like a normal customer literally would. She always thinks we're up to no good which is why she's always coming up to us. Other employees also ignore you sometimes and don't help you.

terrible customer service, employee completely ignored me. Tried various times to get employee's attention and employee pretended not to hear me. Employee is white so possibly intentional ignorance based on race discrimination.
