“I want to say...since that one day, I've had NO issues with the credit card scanners at this place, and I felt I should update my review because I come here to fill my tires and they give customers free air for their tires. And they're always really nice and helpful about it. So, thank you!”

“It was good but this Speedway has less space compared to the one on Fremont Blvd. Prices reflect the area. Attached store is smaller but has the essentials of a convenient store!”

“Come here pretty much everyday since they opened, closest store near my house. The cashier in front during the night shift think his name is Anmol and he is very nice and makes me feel welcome. He's the only one working night shift all alone and feel bad sometimes because of how hard I see him working. Keep up the good work it's nice to have a great cashier working nights again.”

“Not my regular Chevron, but I was in the area in need of gas and a quick wash. I almost skipped it based on reviews here. I think the car wash may have been recently upgraded, though. It now gives options for "light touch" and "touchless" after paying. I tried the touchless car wash and it was actually one of the best automated washes my car's had in years. The drying pass could be more thorough, but if you drive a mile or two afterwards you'll be set. Getting gas was no problem using the Chevron app. It applied its own points-based discount, and my Safeway rewards discount, and paid for the car wash, all simultaneously. As I said, this isn't my usual Chevron, but it was cheaper per gallon than my usual Chevron. They even have EV charging (only 1 CCS and 1 CHAdeMO for now), and they aren't distracted by auto repair and smog testing. It might be worth the drive here from now on.”

“As CVS Pharmacy is the only traditional pharmacy in Newark, CA , I still believed that the pharmacy is doing its best by accommodating & giving vaccinations to valued customers of Newark and wanting their prescriptions filled out. I am of the feeling that this store exists continuosly only because of the value of the pharmacy and not of the products & food being sold in there which are also available elsewhere near the city. Yes, they need to do a pretty tough work to make this bigger store a customer friendly, complete & competitive in pricing & availability. The CVS brand store is already an advantage, they simply have to remake the store image and do better in their service and ease of shopping.”
