I'm posting the letter I sent to Chase Suite and Hotels. It's just too much to rewrite. To add the manager JD handles the issues and called a pest control/fumigation company and confirmed the presence of these insects. Room was quarantined per staff. Staff is courtesy and attentive. To add our second room was a bit better. We did find vape pipes and was really worn out. Owners need to take more responsibility. We plan on a short vacation and are willing to spend our hard earned money. Very unfortunate. They did offer refund and half off the rest of our stay. Nice gesture but still very unpleasant and will never never stay there again. Subject: Urgent Follow-Up Regarding Room Conditions at Chase Hotel Suites, Newark, CaliforniaDear Chase Hotel Suites Management,I hope this letter reaches you with a sense of urgency and understanding of the situation we encountered during our recent stay at your establishment. My purpose in writing this letter is to bring to your attention the events that transpired on 11/17/2023 and to emphasize the need for immediate action.Upon our late-night arrival at approximately 1:30 AM, my family and I were allocated room 803 in building number eight. Regrettably, the condition of the room was deplorable, with a significant infestation of roaches and bedbugs. I must commend the night manager for her kindness in offering an alternative room, expressing that, had she been on duty during the room assignment, she would not have assigned the room in question.After reluctantly repacking our belongings, we inspected the alternative room suggested by the night manager. While it was marginally better than the initial room--featuring fewer stains, no visible cockroaches, and a cleaner mattress with no immediate signs of bed bugs--it remains disheartening that such conditions were present in a room supposedly reserved for corporate employees.We ultimately decided, by around 2:30 AM, to accept this alternative room for a few hours. We refrained from fully unpacking and opted to shower quickly. Despite the night manager's efforts to assist us and her assertion that such complaints were unprecedented, the overall experience has left us deeply dissatisfied.It is with a sense of urgency that I implore you to investigate the conditions of the rooms in question thoroughly. The state of these accommodations falls far below the standards one would expect from a reputable establishment like Chase Hotel Suites. Additionally, it is disconcerting to learn that the room offered to us is typically reserved for corporate employees, suggesting a discrepancy in the quality of accommodations provided to various guests.Moreover, while the night manager attempted to address the situation with goodwill, it is concerning that basic amenities such as housekeeping were not readily available. Housekeeping should be a standard service, not a perk, especially when addressing issues as severe as those we encountered.I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. I appreciate your prompt attention to this issue and look forward to hearing about the corrective measures taken to prevent such incidents in the future.

If you want to get a good night sleep, DON’T stay here because this hotel has a conference room that they rent for parties (quinceañeras, etc) and you can hear everything.People would be outside of their rooms with loud music and although management asked them 3 times to shut down the music, they would still be partying inside their rooms. Seems like it’s mostly young people who stay there for this purpose.Receptionist were very nice though!But we were not able to get any sleep and had to leave at 6am.

We have been staying here 3 weeks at a time & then we left for 2 days and came back to stay another 3 weeks. We travel for my husband's job. We have stayed at numerous kitchenette type hotels in the last 8 yrs. Chase is one of the nicest we have stayed at. Glass top stoves, dishwasher, full size refrigerator!! The sofa has a chase lounge on one side of it and it has a fireplace!! ??Large bedroom with a king size bed. A very good breakfast that has a variety of options and we love the fresh fruit which is Cantaloupe & Honeydew and big red seedless grapes also on Wednesdays they have yummy crispy bacon. Hot coffee and tea and love the honey packets for my tea!! Has a pool & jacuzzi too. Ample parking. The first 3 weeks were super quiet. This time on Friday night a big & very loud party right across from us. It ended at 11:30 pm but restarted at 1:30 am!!! It got shut down within 5 minutes by security. Which I was very happy about. Hopefully they lost their deposit . The only other complaint is our TV in the bedroom needs to be replaced as it has 4 bright light spots in it making it difficult to see. We did report it on our last stay and when we came back we got the same room and it had not been replaced. It's not fixable so they need to replace it. Overall one of the best we have stayed at. We would highly recommend Chase Suites in Newark!! A huge shout out to an awesome front desk staff too!! ??Rooms: Large size rooms with a king size bed & small TV. Large sink vanity with shelf underneath. We like that the toilet & shower are separate with a door. The room has double doors that you can close off from the living room!! Love this option!!Nearby activities: You can walk to Lazy Dog, Jack in the box, Taco Bell and a liquor store.Walkability: Across the street is a huge strip mall . On the back side is the Newark Mall and a Costco is soon to open. All walkable.Noteworthy details: The dishwasher and fireplace are fantastic to have to use while staying here.

My favorite suite stay so far. I also love Indian food and my reviews are completely biased on that.I used to live in the bay area but moved away and was missing indian food. I booked a week's stay here mostly to eat indian food. I had some errand for a day but was there mostly for Indian food. And boy was I treated. There are a plethora of Indian restaurants in and around this hotel. Literally a stone throw away., I gluttonously indulged myself in Indian food.Now for the hotel. The suites were exactly as described. The pool is clean and is really nice to use when its not crowded. The surrounding is extremely commercial with all sorts of businesses including 24 hour fitness, Macys, etc... Where there is money, there is poverty. You will find odd people, and "smokers" around.The suite is extremely private. Once you are inside, if you close all the blinds, it is literally dark all through the day. I did that and was in my work zone for 2-3 days straight. I was skeptical about wi-fi but turned out to be better than most places. I really do expect wifi to be as basic an ammeniy as a shower but some hotels are not good with it.The fire place is nice to use if you find cooler nights. I am usually up at odd hours and enjoyed the fire at 3 am a couple of nights.And last but not least, their breakfast is pretty adequate and provides for a good healthy meal. I loved my stay and will be definitely back for another week of feasts and treats.

Love It...Super Nice Rooms...close to different food restaurants...close to the mall as well every is basically walking distance...they had free breakfast which was great as well...I will be booking here from now on when I stay in NewarkRooms: Clean,spacious and comfortable

In town for a soccer tournament and needed lodging for a night. Very clean room. The room options are optimal for families. We were greeted warmly by reception, Araceli was super helpful in helping us switch rooms and early check-in. Duraflames available to purchase for fireplaces. Continental breakfast options were standard but fairly well stocked and clean. We absolutely will visit again if we are in the area.

This is a pretty great place to stay. Very congenial, helpful and clean. There are some maintenance issues, but I suppose that's normal.It would be nice if there was a gym. But overall, I was really happy with my stay.

Old bad smelling nothing works properly. On pictures this hotel looks fine and comfortable, big full kitchen king bed and everything else, but in reality this hotel is horrible! The CARPET SMELLS WEED! We stayed with a newborn and I was worried about where I can even put her because everything was dirty and bed sheets were not really fresh. For the money its not worth it at all.

This hotel was really perfect. A nice deep pool with plenty of room to swim and it was well cleaned every day. Not a hair to be found. The apartments were super clean no hair or dust to be seen. When we arrived the staff greeted us very friendly and explained everything. There is also a nice downtown within walking distance and San Fransico is 40 minutes away. Furthermore it is a safe and nice area. With beautiful oleander trees. Breakfast was good, fresh products and they were constantly replenished. The only thing they could change is about the people whoes smoking weed by the pool or outside on the balcony. Also,the number of seats at breakfast is not enough for the number of people. Also the time between which you can have breakfast is fine for people traveling for work, but as a vacationer, sometimes you want to sleep in. So I would do the breakfast from 6:30 to 8:30 to 9:30 instead. It's only an hour but then you spread out the amount of guests a bit. For the rest completely fine and I had a super nice last few days. I will definitely come back.

Very clean room, comfy beds, and plenty of room for the kids to roam around in the room! Great place to stay staff are extremely friendly and kind! Stayed only for 1 night but wished we had stayed longer. Overall had a great experience.

The couch was good. Bed was a hotel bed, and never really interacted with employees. Once you leave hotel property, very unwalkable.Rooms: Spacious, good couch, less than average bed, TVs don't offer any other service than television.Nearby activities: There's a mall and a couple restaurants.Walkability: Horrible outside hotel propertyFood & drinks: Very good.
