Visited this branch in Newark, Jarvis Ave. An Asian Lady, second cubical from the entry assisted us. We were wanting to open an account and the first questions were are you a citizen and do you have a social security number? There was no introduction to Chase Bank and the benefits or asking what type of account would best suit us, oh no none of that! Is it because we were people of color? I bet you don't treat all your customers that walk through those doors in that manner! Did not ask if we had any other forms of government issued identification or ITin number. Her approach/ customer service or lack thereof offended us. We were informed that Chase had a Strict banking policy. We had brought in 2 forms of identification and our Bank of America card and Credit card ( which we have had for the past 15years, no problems opening that account) thought we would join Chase since we enjoy watching the warriors basketball and could benefit from a Chase Bank Card. Well looks like it is only available to a select population. Way to go isolating a diverse population with your unapologetic handling of new clientele. I am quiet flabbergasted by this display of intentional rudeness representing a major banking institution. Your employees are a representation of your business and how they treat your customers is a reflection of the business.

I got a credit card from this branch and was told that it would arrive in 5-7 days. However the card hasn't arrived after more than 10 days. My original plan was to use the card in my travel. Now this delay made it impossible. I called the customer service and got conncected to a very rude operator. He impolitely told me my card was just shipped so I have to wait 5-7 more days. No appologies at all. Just reiterating longer wait after I questioned why it's arriving so much later than what I was originally told, even suggesting that I should contact the branch directly if I have questions. Typical bully behaviors of small customers.

BE CAREFUL THEY HAVE WORKERS IN THERE DOING FRUADULANT THINgs TO ACCOUNTS.I went in to get a check for the remaining balance of my accounts and they said they would be mailed to me n 10 days and it was sent to some random address i never heard of in Arizona,I believe they changed my address afafter i left because i talked to them on the phone they said it was done in branch

Just left Chase with no services. I'm a long time Chase customer and try to add relative to my account. Came to the bank at 4:35, waited 5 minutes and they came out at 4:40 to refuse helping us with the reason they close at 5pm, not enough time. This afternoon I was consulting at Chase - Palo Alto, they said will take only 10 minutes to do this request. Didn't get this bad customer service at Chase before.

Tried to open a trust bank account and got the total run around. The people do not want to help and went so far as to say we don't like these type accounts because the bank doesn't make enough money. Stay away at all costs. Closing my chase card and will never use them again. Went to US Bank in Fremont and they were awesome. So happy that I moved all my accounts to them.

They almost never fix the ATM machines which are often broken. It's difficult to get an appointment here. Sometimes it's a bit dirty. This is a small branch and while they have tried to renovate it with some glass walls overall it's just a quick tiny stop to pass through if you're coming from the freeway and need to check your accounts, but coming here to get serviced staff isn't always the most helpful (it's average). Mainly what bothers me is that there isn't much help after mentioning your card gets stuck in the ATM, it's like they expect you to do their job and hand adequate service depositing or withdrawing cash in substandard or old non-functioning ATMs which is pretty ludicrous.

The worst customer service i have experienced at a bank ever. I got to the bank at 3:50pm to pay an auto loan and I was told the wait was 20 mins to speak with a banker. At 4:30, i was told that the wait was 10 mins. The branch closed its doors at 5pm while me still indoors waiting for the banker. At 5:10, i gave up and left

Don't come here, Chase needs to clean house here. Every time I come here, their ATM's don't work. I come to this Chase because it is convenient, near my work, on the way and no need to deviate anywhere. Every time I try to come here to use their ATM's, they're broken. There's a message on the screen saying the ATM is not functional. They also have the old ATM's, not the newer one's. I think its a clear sign management....the old one are not sustainable anymore and you need to get the new one's. Today was the last straw and why I am yelping about it. I went in and one of the ATM's was actually functional. I started o use it, it was super slow. I probably stood there for 5 minutes only the get my card back and a receipt saying this ATM can't give money right now. I think they need to just change management here, they obviously don't care about Customer Service and would rather not give you your money. This place is very bad for the Chase brand. My experience with Chase bank itself has been positive and I have been with this bank almost 15 years.
