“I can't tell you how much I love Laasya. I saw a painting a few years ago in a magazine that I fell in love with. I found Laasya gallery a few months ago. Sonia and her team reached out to the artist and helped us commission a work similar to what I'd seen in the old painting. Sonia did so much work guiding us through the commissioning process, connecting with the artist, making a plan that we were all happy with, and going back and forth throughout to update us and finally having it shipped to California safely. We picked it up in her gallery last week and it is stunning and better than we could have imagined. She was so welcoming to our kids and we got to see so much beautiful art (are tempted to buy another piece!). The collection of contemporary Indian art is so well curated and so unique, it is a real treasure to have this in the USA! If you are considering it, I'd recommend Laasya all the way!”
“Great Art Center in the city of Palo Alto, CA. Came here for a free family event night. A lot of fun activities for kids such as clay sculpting, coloring, origami, and art viewing. There was also a dance performance towards the end. It is located in a nice area near the local library, park, and community garden. They offer various classes for all ages on all forms of art. Wonderful event space and art education.”
“Came in on Wednesday, Pamela was great to talk to about the current solo exhibition- Ellen Richman. Loved some of the abstract paintings!! Happened to come into her gallery space and saw the exhibit. My wife mentioned to Pamela that she has an art problem... Cheers Pamela!!”
“Great Festival and very nice people. The food is amazing and delicacies, and a bustling bazaar filled with authentic crafts and jewelry. Really it was a great experience.”
“Ms. Prashanti was my teacher and I highly recommend! I'm moving out of town unfortunately otherwise I would have loved to continue lessons with her. I began lessons with the intention of learning minimalist art and sketching without any prior art experience/ knowledge and Ms. Prashanti had me sketching and doing detailed pieces in no time! I had no idea I was capable of drawing like this! Ms. Prashanti is very inspiring and a good soul to be around. This is a great school. Thank you again!!!”
“I was here with my daughter for tea and snacks. It was my first time here and hence thought to try it out. We ordered lavender latte for me and another one matcha latte. We ordered an avocado toast sandwich which we split between us as we were not that hungry.
I enjoyed everything and the ambience is also very cool and it was pretty much packed in the afternoon. The service is great and quick. We didn't have to wait for a long time. Overall, it was a great experience and glad that there's one more tea shop to try out among many others.”
“Mr. Ku and his wife, Terry, were the epitome of kindness, when they allowed me to scan some of my oil pastel paintings to submit to another gallery artist open call. They had never met me previously, and were most gracious, helpful, and kind in allowing me to scan my paintings! I learned about their artist daughter, 'Peaches', who is quiet gifted with oils, attended art school in NYC, and takes portrait commissions! They also have framing available and a LOT of gorgeous art work available for purchase!”
“I couldnt believe I never left a review!! Hector did a lot of things for me, his work is so awesome!! He framed a Pan American Games Silver medal, a Serena Williams replica tennis dress with string packages I used to string her rackets, an autographed poster, autograph badminton jerseys with players rackets, and a few other things. His work and prices were VERY reasonable, I refered some customers to him so he gave me good deals on my things. Sorry for not posting this, but people now know his awesome work!!”
