“I’ve been here twice, and both times the (I suppose the owner) was friendly and helpful. The items especially the baby stuff that I was looking at were very high quality ( organic cotton, some wool and cashmere) and quite a few locally made things. I love buying unique things made in the US and supporting small businesses! And this place makes it easy and fun.”

“Absolutely my favorite store for kids clothes!! My little has sensory sensitivities and all of the clothes has no or non intrusive tags, soft fabric, seems that don’t irritate and fun colors and styles kids love.The owners and staff really go the extra mile offering curbside pickup and sometimes even deliver for moms going through itThey carry a lot of products locally made and make sure the maker gets most of the profits. Its truly a community based shop with a goal to lift everyone up because there is room for all at the top.”

“An eclectic store with a wide variety of unique gift items, all with a nature and science theme. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill gift shop. The educational children's section was always a favorite of my grandkids and I especially like the clothing and book selection. This is not a clothing or book store, it is obviously by design a specialty store offering what seems to be the best of the best of select items in their niche catagory.”

“Great shop with great history and very unique. Was staying in Nevada City and wanted a board game for the evening. Ended up talking with the owners for some time. They were very friendly and great to talk with. Very cool orchestration music display that plays a bunch of instruments in sync. Great selection with fair prices. Highly recommend anyone visiting to stop in and patronize this shop that has been around for decades. Support small/local businesses!”
