Building is very dilapidated paint peeling dirty with cobwebs, sink and toilet were clean appliances clean the bed was pretty good all linen clean. Floor is dirty stains on the carpeting. However the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, but I had to leave 2 days early due to I couldn't take living in the room anymore. The outdoors is all dried up and again the outdoor furniture has little to desire.

Well as always. The shower water was stuck on after showering in room 21 on the farthest room upstairs to the end of the building. The employee/ worker man was able to shut it off.

Where do I start, All the negative reviews you see about the Nevada City Inn are 100% true, the positive reviews are either friends, family or someone that doesn't care about much. First Kenny was very pleasant and tried to help, however unless Kenny can use a bulldozer to demolish the entire property, there is not much he can do to help. The rooms are beyond filthy, unkept and just plain disgusting. The floors haven't been cleaned in any part of the cabin. There was a piece of crumbled toilet paper on the bathroom floor. The couch looked like someone had been murdered on it, I was also told the couch was only 6 months old, maybe closer to 20 years. there is an iron in the room and the handle was black, when it should have been white. I opened the refrigerator and instantly slammed it shut do to the filth. The curtains were from the sixties and haven't been cleaned since. there were holes in all the walls, you could see through the AC sides to the outside. The manager did show me 2 other rooms and stated they have been newly remodeled, in the 70s, I don't know if they know that was over 50 years ago. They do allow dogs for extra money, however my dog would come out dirtier than it went in, and my dog is clean. We were able to cancel the reservation without having to stay, no way in HELL would I stay there, Expedia did contact the hotel right away after we called them. Do yourself a favor and drive right pass this unkept, lack of pride in ownership motel.

I absolutely loved this place its an older building but thats what makes this place so unique. It's quiet, clean, the rooms not big but spacious, there's trees everywhere and being fall season the leaves of the trees are awesome. They accept pets for a small fee $10.00 per night and there's also cabins you can rent as well. The manager was awesome and very friendly and helpful. The cost is very very reasonable and there's no deposits which is hard to find anymore. Its easy to find so if you like being in the mountains and the fresh clean air I would definitely book your room.

No breakfast as was advertised and no ice machine.
Rooms: The rooms are old but adequate except the blinds don’t completely cover the windows so there is little privacy.
Food & drinks: The webpage says that it includes breakfast which is not true.

No table, no chair, rotten wood leading to shower, bedspread stained, no continental breakfast as advertised and$100+ a night is robbery. We should have slept in our car.
Rooms: Rooms old and not very clean. Don't stay here.

we reserved a 1 bedroom cottage for $153. We checked in to discover they gave us a studio room, stunk from mildew smell, heater didn't work. I refused to accept a studio when we paid for a 1 bedroom luxury cottage. We refused the room and went to the northern queen. It was a bait and switch, and the owner has refused to refund us our money. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL, ITS A TOTAL RUN DOWN CRAPPY PLACE AND THE MANAGEMENT WILL CHEAT YOU OUT YOUR MONEY.

Cute little place to stay for a day or two. They are pet friendly for $20 and they have a cute little cozebo you can relax under. Only problem is I think the rooms need to be remodeled.
