The cutest inn! My fiancé and I were so obsessed with not only the charm, but with the character and hospitality as well. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway! I expected the rooms to be lovely (and they were!) but the extras like the intimate patios, the freshly made biscotti, and how wonderfully sweet the hosts were really put this stay over the top! Definitely coming back!!

Had a terrific stay at this very cute and perfectly located (walking distance to downtown- heck, you're really practically in the downtown). Very clean, decorated very nicely and the part I loved most was that everything in the guests' dining area was clearly marked so that you wouldn't mix up your cinnamon and chocolate. Homemade biscotti, woo hoo - what a treat. Ron and Julie are super hosts- caring, friendly, informative, and not intrusive. What a lovely stay!

Found this place on yelp. It was more than it was cracked up to be. Ron and Julie are very friendly, helpful hosts. And they've done a beautiful job restoring and decorating this beautiful old house. Lots of the touches provide very welcoming environment. Kudos to Ron on his homemade biscotti, by the way. Highest recommendation.

We picked the right place to stay! Broad Street Inn is a perfect location when you want a bit of Nevada City charm and hospitality. The room we stayed in (#6) was clean, and comfortable with updated amenities. The owners were kind enough to accommodate our check-in situation, would definitely recommend.Don't miss out on the homemade biscotti!

A stay at Broad Street Inn will always remain a fond memory for us. The inn is adorable! From your first glimpse of seeing the exterior beauty that is wondrously accentuated by the gardens that surround it, to the beautiful rooms that are meticulously cared for. The hosts, Julie and Ron, are warmly welcoming in each interaction, and will guide you to an amazing adventure. We will cannot wait to once again explore Nevada City.

This is an ideal place to stay in Nevada City. The owners are very knowledgeable, charming and friendly. The place is rustic, and surroundings are serene and yet cosmopolitan. It is located in the center of town, very near the theaters, restaurants and shops. The Cottage (the building where we stayed for four days) is spacious, lovely and with a good size kitchen. Without a doubt, this place is for those who treasure long lasting memories.Oscar King, M.D. and Ruthie Wilkins

A beautifully kept, lovely inn with truly hospitable people. The place is close enough from the downtown but away enough (only a short walking distance) from the noises/traffic. We were able to park right in front.Everything in the inn was very clean and pretty, and the hosts Ron and Julie were very welcoming, genuinely nice people. It was such a pleasant stay and the relaxed, feel good vibe permeates throughout, so other guests are also naturally in a good mood, which made the whole experience even better. We cannot recommend it enough and we look forward to revisiting in the future.

Our Broad Street Inn experience was nothing short of sublime. The Inn is situated at the top of the hill overlooking downtown, close enough to walk but far enough to find parking. The rooms are clean, cozy, and perfect for an individual or couple looking for a non-commercial experience. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable of activities to do around Nevada City. They make the Inn feel like home, providing a spread of coffee and snacks (homemade biscotti) in the communal kitchen area. Moreover, they went the extra mile for us, adjusting our room reservation at the last minute to accommodate our needs and even save us money.Broad Street Inn made our Nevada City experience a comfortable one, and we could not recommend it more highly.

I've stayed at Broad Street Inn many times over the past several years and it is always a huge treat. Julie and Ron could not be more welcoming, and the rooms and property are impeccable. It is totally charming with every amenity you would want. Whenever I arrive, I exhale and know it will be a time of relaxation and ease. This last visit, I was relaxing outside with my morning coffee and Ron actually swung by with the coffee pot to give me a refill. (Who does that?!! A person who notices and cares, that's who...) As a mom who always takes care of everyone else, I cannot tell you what a kind and unexpected gesture that was. There is an adorable kitchenette (actually, there are two... one upstairs by the rooms and one downstairs by the outdoor space...) that has a full coffee bar, ice maker, filtered water, oatmeal, popcorn, microwave, fridge, even homemade biscotti. Speaking of which, there are three pretty distinct outdoor spaces: one in front of the house, and two in the back on separate levels.. So... plenty of room to spread out and find your own place to relax alone or with your travel companions. The location is perfect: a couple blocks to the main part of town with shops and restaurants, but situated in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood where you can chill out. One thing to keep in mind is that it is like a bed and breakfast, in that it is an old Victorian home--so the rooms are close together and the walls are on the thin side (as any cozy home would be...). If you plan on swinging from the chandeliers partying in your room til all hours of the night, this is not the hotel for you. Obviously, I am a huge fan of Broad Street Inn and especially Julie and Ron. They provide something that is rare and valuable, and they deserve to be recognized for it.

What a great place. I stayed in one of the rooms inside the house a few years ago and loved it. This time we stayed in the carriage house/apartment. That is set back from the house, shaded by nice trees and surrounded by lush landscaping and pretty patio furniture. It was nice the firs time and even nicer now. Love this place. The apartment is that, a one-bedroom apartment with nice furniture and a very modern kitchen. Great tv (my hubby wanted that because there aren't tvs in the main building) and extremely cozy. We sat out in the yard for a while drinking wine and playing Scrabble. The town has several fun little shops, bars, and restaurants to choose from. I will go back.
