FULLY REBUILT A FAMILY MEMBERS TRANSMISSION ON FORD ESCAPE 2010. REALLY NOT SURE WHERE TO LOOK FOR A GOOD SHOP LIKE THIS FOR THIS SPECIFIC WORK, AND WE USED OUR BEST JUDGMENT AND WE DEFINETLY MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER TRANSMISSION AND RELATED SHOPS AND YOU NEVER KNOW IF THEY WILL DO GOOD WORK OR CHARGE TO MUCH, IT CAN BE A MAJOR HEADACHE. THIS SHOP IS A GREAT SHOP. PRICE WAS FAIR, THEY DID GREAT WORK, AND IT WAS A PRETTY QUICK TURN AROUND. NO HEADACHE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT GONE, TRANSMISSION GOOD TO GO WITH A WARRANTY TOO.

I had a couple of great experiences with this company. Julio diagnoses with ease, and the repair work excellent. Their pricing was the best I could find. My car was a 2003 tahoe. They replaced the transmission and later a driveshaft . Very satisfied. I will be bringing my 1968 to them for some engine work as they clearly work on classics as well as recent models.

Excellent work, honest and transparent. I brought in an older car that needed a transmission rebuild. They quoted a fair price, and stuck to the estimate even though the repair presented some unexpected challenges. They even knocked a couple of hundred dollars off the price because it took longer than they estimated. They followed through on their warranty promise and took care of a problem that came up later. I highly recommend this family-owned business.

I had a positive experience. The staff was friendly. The price was fair. This was my first time there. I went in for maintenance/oil change on my differential. No issues! They were done within the hour (simple drain and fill).

So glad I found this transmission shop! I took my F250 in this morning with a loose shifter. They called me just one hour after dropping it off, and told me the problem, and that it wouldn't cost much, wow, these guys really live up to their reputation! I definitely found the best place in town for transmission repairs and I can say this from my own experience! They said it would be done the same day, so glad too, because this is my work truck! Thanks Julio and team for taking pride in what you do! It was a pleasure doing business with you!

I regularly took my 1973 Chevrolet Nova to a close family friend mechanic in Temecula, He does great work, but the drive from San Diego to Temecula is just too far. I found this hidden gem through a buddy of mine who owns a 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Been to Total Care 3 times already for work/upgrades. The Total Care Team is a hardworking and honest family. They not only work on classic cars, but they drive them too! You can see them at some of the classic car meets around town. I wouldn't take my classic car anywhere else! Thank you Total Care!

After shopping for realiable knowlegable shops i finally found total care transmissions from the moment i called in they took the time to really explain the work that goes into rebuilding my speciffic transmission and common issues and possible upgrades to prevent premature failer again im more then satisfied witht he care and service i received and would give 10 stars if possible i would highly recomend this local family owned bizz there. Really know what they are doing all other transmission shops ived called didnt give the warm welcoming feeling like this place

Was having getting my 65 impala running right, thinking I needed a carb adjustment. Took it to total care, Julio and them tuned the carb a tad bit but told me to take it back to the shop that built the engine without even charging me for their time. The issue was in the engine.
