Normally Targets are great and clean with helpful employees but this target is ALWAYS filthy, stuff is thrown everywhere, employees avoid customers like the plague and the lines to check out are always extremely long. Every time I come here it’s the same thing. Employees walking around looking busy but when it comes to the check out line only like 3 are at the register. Same thing every time.

I am understanding of the difficulty for these kinds of jobs and their staffing. And also understanding of the mess that customers in this area always seem to leave behind. The store is messy overall, and I understand that. But what I don't understand is how management doesn't have a game plan to at least AVOID situations such as the one in this picture. The food fridges and freezers are clearly neglected, and the bad part about it is it is something that puts people's HEALTH at risk. This isn't just a messy shelf of t shirts or toys, ITS FOOD. Management needs to create a better game plan. May ignore the messy shirts for a week and deep clean the hell out of the food section. Mold is dangerous.

Long lines, messy store, usually out of stock on common stuff, grocery only has basic items, horrible parking. Also, now self checkout fails to accept cash. I drive 12 miles out of my way to avoid this store most of the time. It's 3 minutes from my place, but it sucks.

Don't bother with online orders here. They will never be available and will refund you a week or 2 after your purchase of an item they never had in stock

0 star here. First of all, I ordered online for convenience and Target delivered wrong items so I needed to drive just to return the items. Wasted my gas and time for this. When I was there in customer service, there was a misunderstanding in the total amount of refund. Customer service David (bald white old guy) in return/exchange department is rude and arrogant. It turns out I am right. I figured out myself about my credit card charges when I got home. He just didn't fully explain because he is pissed. If he can't handle his job well, unhappy and doesn't care about the company, he can get out any time.
There are so many people needs a job and for sure can handle the customer service very well. I am one of those who worked before in this kind of industry and for almost a decade as a senior supervisor, I never snapped despite of work loads and tiredness.
I know "customer is always right" is not the thing anymore which is 100% I agree because some customers are abusive and mean. However, employees should still be reminded especially this guy that customers will always remember the company's name, not theirs..that's why employees should handle it with care. I'd rather go to Walmart instead of this Target branch.

Only 1 out of 14 registers were open. So lines were crazy long. Not enough workers. They didn't bother restocking baskets at the front so I ended up buying 4 things that I could carry instead of $200 more of stuff. Dirty store, too. Floors were disgusting from the moment you walk in.

This post is a reflection of this specific Target and not Target as a whole.
I don't normally need help in target. I can find things just fine. However, on occasion I do need assistance locating something. The employees that work here are consistently dismissive, inattentive and generally unhelpful. I don't know what's up with the culture or morale at this store. The Eastlake location is not like this.
On the upside, this target is clean, well maintained and well-stocked.
Hence the 3 stars.

Poor customer service. Only one register open and the line is almost like waiting a ride at disney land. I thought target is better than wallmart.
