They rarely have paper towels in the men's restroom. They no longer provide body wash in the showers, what's next; No toilet paper?.? There used to be a maintenance guy at this gym but I haven't seen him around lately. I'm wondering if he quit or got let go. Either way, if he's no longer there, the staff that's usually too busy chatting with each other should take care of these essential needs...

It has most of what you will need, there is a sign that says equipment must be shared, i havent seen this at any other LA FITNESS, its cool, PLEASE SHARE, if you are not into sharing then buy your own equipment and workout at your home, unless you are doing hip trust lol that one will be hard to share but its doable
Dumbells are all over the place, thats on us, the users, some lazy people wont rack them where they should
Mens bathroom stinks, it has this smell its a bathroom right? But non of the others LA fitness I have went smells like this one…idk, I think smell comes from Sauna
There are some roaches around the gym, the big ones, watch out!
Also, sometimes mens bathroom is missing soap, papel towels or tissue, whats going on there?
I wish they had 2 machines of: leg press, leg extension and lying leg curl, 1 actual hack squat and 1 extra mobile bench.
Where is the 40 lbs EZ bar?
There is this trainer that screams to his cust. i guess its meant to inspire them to hit their PR but do you really need that? Even with my earbuds i can hear him, kinda exagerates, but people pay for that lol i really hope they achieve their goals in the end ????

AVOID THIS PLACE!!
The locker rooms:
This place smells of mold and mildew is falling apart; everything from the restroom partitions, to the tile floor, every piece of metal rusting, the walls beneath the sink countertop are all ripped out from water damage and fans running likely to keep people from noticing the horrendous smell.
The location:
If you don’t mind parking your vehicle next to multiple homeless encampments where your vehicle is the target each time you park there then you’ll be fine. If you don’t like having your car broken into avoid at all costs.
The staff:
The manager Marisol might be the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unkind person I’ve ever encountered in a customer service setting and that’s conservative for how big a piece of work this person is.
LA fitness you should consider reassessing this location and your managerial staff.

I worked at the LA fitness in Eastlake back in 2015+ I ran that club good, VP had to come down to see who I was my numbers where higher then Hollywood and local gyms. I trained the best staff while there and was sent to other gyms to train them. I never got to work at NC gym I sure wish I did, I'll clean that make sure staff and guest are on point meeting there goals. Sad I had to leave thw place. I was under payed over worked, but I met great people overall.

I left Chuze to join LA FITNESS and it’s a disappointment. Lockers doesn’t look how they look in pic, it smells BAD and not clean (unsanitary). Homeless always going in there. Don’t have much machines to workout on. I’ve been to the one in Eastlake rooms are always clean. Been to Arizona and damm they are super clean and well maintained. Wish we had that over here for the price we’re paying every month. Shower area sinks, ants every where and I’ve seen roaches too. Soap dispensers always broken cause they let homeless in and I’ve seen them hit the soap dispensers, don’t know why they allow them in. Also have found alcohol bottles in lockers and doors to lockers always broken. Nation City LA FITNESS SUCKS !!!!

Do not buy membership!
I live very close to this gym, in 2019 I did a tour through facility. Machines are outdated and most are broken. Bathrooms are unkept, staff is never present throughout facility for help with machines.
Here we are in 2024 with same issues but worse.
Unclean facility
Unfriendly staff
Outdated machines
Bug problem
Fowl Odor
This LA fitness needs to be closed or completely renovated.

It is a fun place to exercise and meet new people who enjoy and seek the same goals as you. Good location and ample parking lot.
