“It's a consignment shop for local artists. There is a variety of different items, from original paintings and art prints to jewelry and custom clothes. I would recommend visiting! Shop small local businesses!”
“Absolute Gem ? I have found so many beautiful pieces here. From plants to pottery to home essentials and even jewelry I never leave here empty handed! The Gentlemen who operates this store is so very kind and helpful. It’s always a pleasure to talk with him. I always recommend this boutique to everyone I know visiting the area! Very unique pieces and high quality items to add to your home or gift to a loved one!”
“Just visited and purchased few items at this store. It is a small store, but not enough varieties of men's hats/caps. Its prices are pretty reasonable for visitors. A lady's name, Adela, who was working at the store, who seems kind & courteous, reminded me of paying cash will save 3.5% rather than paying with a credit card. That was a quick reminder although there was a sign on the cash counter which I didn't pay attention. I hope an owner whose name is Mr. Ronald Maikovich could have more varieties of men's hats/caps, etc.”

3803 Ray St, San Diego“A bright explosion of color and whimsy, Artlexia is a delightful gem nestled in the heart of North Park. Stepping inside instantly lifts your mood with its bursts of vivid hues and festive decor. The shop is a love letter to iconic artist Frida Kahlo, with a fantastic selection of memorabilia, prints, jewelry and more featuring her beautiful work. As a huge Frida fan, I was over the moon to find an entire section dedicated to the Mexican icon. From sticker packs and notebooks to coffee mugs and tote bags, they have an impressive array of Frida merchandise. The Frida shirts are especially cool - I'll be rocking my new one at the next Día de los Muertos festival! Beyond the excellent Frida selections, Artlexia has a wonderfully curated collection of Mexican folk art, pottery, textiles and crafts. The geometric patterns and bold colors of the Oaxacan animal carvings are stunning. You'll also find Day of the Dead and sugar skull themed items, as well as festive Lotera game boards and sets. The shop is such a bright, cheerful space to explore. Walking in truly feels like a mini vacation to Mexico with all the vivid colors and artistry. The warm hospitality and friendliness of the staff makes browsing even more enjoyable. Artlexia is a true North Park gem - I'll be back again and again!”
“AMAZING WORK by LOCAL FloristsI wanted to send a simple, same-day table arrangement to some friends in San Diego and Sage Sisters knocked it out of the park! They paired lots of local seasonal flowers into a well designed medium table arrangement - they even sent a photo before it was delivered to let me know what it looked like. The thoughtfulness, the careful craft, and personal touch is what will keep me going back to them for years to come. Not to mention a great price point. 10/10 recommend!”
“I don't usually do reviews of this type of places but I think it's worth it.We arrived at this place after having breakfast in Little Italy and the atmosphere is perfect, in fact the music and the smell of freshly burnt incense is phenomenal. We bought a ring and some incense that we had been looking for in several places without luck. The variety of artifacts and stones is very good and abundant. The person who assisted us, a bearded guy whose name I forgot to take, was super courteous and friendly!!We'll definitely come back!!”

“If you're visiting Barrio Logan and you don't stop at Casa XoVi you're missing out. I'm down in the area a few times a year and I NEVER MISS IT.The owner is fabulous. Such a wonderful woman and authentic. She cares and will help you get just what you need and what you didn't even realize you needed. Perfect spot for gifts also. The home made delicacies.... I stock up when I'm there.Try it all. You will thank me!I confess that I love the area but a lot of the shops are all selling identical things now and that is why I love Casa XoVi it is still unique.Art, Yummies, decor, gifts, and some of the classic items. Take a basket and let her fill it up and you will have a gift no one will forget.Go early for the best parking. I suggest comfy shoes and park a little ways off as it is more fun walking than fighting for parking. If you're close enough UBER.I feel this ship is a cultural explosion of quality and beautiful products. That with the warm and welcoming environment is pure love. ENJOY..I can't wait to return ?♥️”
“The owner, Petey was so hospitable and welcoming upon entering her shop! The cute clothing, home decor and jewelry are great for gifts (or buy it for yourself.. because you deserve it) I've purchased jewelry, bday cards and miscellaneous items. The prices of the items are very reasonable. I'll definitely be returning again :)”

903 Seacoast Dr, Imperial Beach“I grew up in this town and Bibbey's is a classic. He has so many shells and souvenirs at a great price. I enjoy walking around his displays and seeing all the varieties of shells, jewelry and trinkets.”
“I had lunch in Old Town and came across Old Town Jerky and Root Beer. I had to go inside as I love root beer. Inside was a huge selection of root beer and other drinks in glass bottles. Reminds me of when I was a kid and most drinks were in glass bottles and you could return them for a dime. Most of the drinks were $4 each. Surf City Root Beer had a good amount of sweetness and carbonation. I liked the vanilla and sassafras flavor. There is a bite a little like Barq's. Very good tasting root beer. River City Root Beer had lots of bubbles and sweet licorice flavor. Very good. Oak Creek Blonde Barrel Aged Root Beer was the first root beer I've come across that looks like a cream soda. Flavors include caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. Love the combination of flavors. This is my favorite root beer here. Boulder Birch Beer was sweet with a mix of vanilla and wintergreen flavor. One of my favorite birch beers. If you are a soda lover and prefer your drink in a glass bottle Old Town Jerky and Root Beer is an awesome place to get a drink.”

“What a great boutique store (San Diego location) with friendly and attentive service. And, they sell Hammitt purses which I have been looking for everywhere. Steph helped me make the very difficult decisions on picking from the large variety of Hammitt purses and beautiful, original jewelry from around the world. I ended up going back later in the day to buy a second purse from Beau, the owner, who was also very friendly and helpful. The store also has custom art pieces great for decorating your home, clothing, fun gift items, and much more. I don't live in the area, but I will be sure to stop by in all my future visits to San Diego.”

4698 Alvarado Canyon Rd suite p, San Diego“Just found out physical store is closed however, u can order online. But the experience of coming into this establishmentLiving in SD this was a treat for me. The ppl here were always so helpful & kind. Even after I moved out of state and my son might come and pick up the oils, incense, prayer beads, etc…for me they were always so welcoming. My daughter Hollie (Rip)introduced me to this shop in 1995. She wore the fragrance, Night Queen and our family still wears it until this day. Of course Egyptian Musk is a definite favorite as well. After the passing of the kind man YaYa, his beautiful family continued to keep shop going. I’m sorry to hear they now closed. They were a real blessing to us all and the community. And are very much missed.Peace & Blessings to the family & staff of Garden of Fragrance.I will be ordering online, however, it is not the same that’s for sure.”

There is also an auditorium for various types of events adjacent to a small open area. Parking is nothing to worry about. Come, park and enjoy this luxury.”
