I truly appreciate the folks from Firearms Unknown. My husband wanted to get me a gun for my birthday which meant having to retake the FSC test again (the last time I took it was at a gun show how many years back).
When it was time to review, Laurie not only went through the answers with me, but she helped me understand which questions I got wrong and what my thought process was, walked me through picking my first gun, and went over all the safety with me (which is what all the staff do very well). I mention this albeit very obvious because Laurie made me feel confident as a new gun owner, and as a mom wanting to protect my little one. She is extremely personable and highly knowledgeable, with a passion to ensure that everyone that comes through their doors can walk out with a better appreciation for firearms.
All this to say, this will now be my go-to spot for all my firearm needs, thanks to Laurie and the team!

GREAT customer service! Lori handled my needs on everything I needed to bring to the store so I didn’t have a wasted trip. Then I was able to get my repair completed in about 3 hours.

Danger pelegro beware.Go sumwhere else.Reprting to BBB about Consumer rip off policy ,If you are unaware about issues with background history.This place will lie cheat steal from you.Entice you to continue with purchase even if up FRONT about background.They should refer / suggest you go check your own background before contiunuing with a purchase. Act like a friend then stab you in the back.Not reccomended utill update there policies,I could understand a restocking fee ,not steal all customers $ by having them sign a contract written up by sum1 that should be disbared and buisness licence revoked.Stop ripping off good Americans.

walked in for a private party buy/sell. sebastian was exceptional and helped us through the process. took the time to let us know every piece of information needed and more to complete the transaction. he was extremely patient and knowledgeable. i will definitely come back and conduct future business with sebastian!

been here a few times and so far and its the best FFL in SD if your looking for place to pick up your first firearm i would highly recommended Firearms Unknown the staff is knowledgeable and helpful or if your looking for parts they have a good selection.
