I had my tires replaced and one of my wheels is damaged upon pick up. There were different scratches and shaved spots and I complained to one of their guy (Gabriele) and his excuse is they don’t have anything that can damage my wheels. I asked if they a cctv on their work area and he said none therefore they can just deny it. I suspect on of their guys dropped my wheel because the scratches is near the center. I wonder how many times they can get away with this if they don’t have any camera if someone complains to them. It’s such a bad experience and I warn future customers to be aware if they damage your property. I suggest you guys get a work area camera it’s not that expensive right for a business like this?

Made an appointment to have my tires/wheels balanced and rotated. Rep "measure" the tread and said my rear tires are down to 2/32. When I came back the next day, another rep said my tires are all at 5/32. Then wants to charge me $80 to rotate and balance.

After taking 400$ from me for new tire sensors to correct my low tire pressure light, the light persisted. Came back to 6 days later to see if it was a possible leak somewhere. They refused to do anything more than visual inspection due to tire tread wear. They didnt have an issue last week dismounting my tires and getting $400 from me. Been coming here for a few years, never again.

The entire staff special mention to Trevor your nice and friendly and that asian skinny dude with lil mustache who appear to be the doctor and deliver the news about our tires and oh I found out his name and his name is JOHN. They are sooooo transparent, friendly, and they made you feel your literally in good hands. So I came here Sat 8am on the dot with my tire issue And staff already have a full blown energy not grumpy and looking why Am I here kind of attitude! Nope! Not a single sign and it seems a place with really good working environment. Kuddos to everybody to your head or lead....Please give them something manager! You have no idea how hard to find employees that will stick nowadays.

My most disappointing interaction with Discount Tires in 16 years of using them. Made an appointment for 1245 and got out of there at 215. The actual labor took 10 minutes. Not sure I see a point in making appointments. I was told they were using a new online appointment system and it was glitchy. My major beef was that they wanted to charge me for a tire rotation because i asked that they do it as specified for a jeep using the spare, instead of their normal clockwise or front to back rotation. I had to talk to 3 guys and make my case that there was no difference where the tire was being placed, the amount of labor was the same. Even then, one was online trying to disprove my requested rotation pattern for 15 minutes before asking the store manager. They begrudgingly agreed to do it this one time, because they saw my long history of using them but was told not to expect them to do it again. I was then asked outside by the manager and he explained that people take advantage and bring vehicles that are breaking down and when the store tries to change a tire and something breaks, they are held responsible. Which i get, but as far as i know, the chain is known for doing free air checks and rotations. In addition, my jeep is a 2021 w/ 14K miles, not a beater so Im obviously not trying to rip them off. Apparently, each store can set their own rules, which is fine, Ill just use a different location. Throughout the ordeal the staff was courteous and professional. The guys doing the actual labor were also very pleasant and professional, which is the only upside to this visit.

Everyone here was really helpful. One of my tires needed to be replaced and I was able to make an early appointment and they helped me get a replacement. I didn't feel like I was being upsold just to meet a bottom line when I asked for a comparison between tires. I was in and out in maybe 30 minutes with two new tires and a rotation. Will definitely be back for all my tire needs!

I was a walk-in and had a nail in a tire I wanted repaired. They advertise 30% less wait time. I waited 2 hrs. before they even moved my car into the shop. I was told it would be about 1 1/2 hrs tops. It took 3.
I’ll find somewhere else to go next time even though the tires were purchased at Discount Tire.

Was a walk in customer. I wanted 2 tires i bought online to be mounted. I picked this location because its 1 block from my work. Guy said 98$ just to change my 2 tires. Usualy tire shops charge 20$ for ea. tire all service included with it balance and installation. I askwed whats the difference. he said. “its because we torque the wheel to spec, and dispose of the tire” Mf you supposed to

Short review. Despite it's name, this place isn't discount. You're better off looking elsewhere to local mechanic shops for better deals and similar/better quality.

This place is a joke. I bought new tires last week at this location and paid for 4 new air pressure sensors. They had 3 different employees struggle to reset/format/program the sensors, and none of them could figure it out. It's just a damn Toyota Prius!!! I sat for 2 hours (with me being the first one in at 8am appt.) all 3 employees struggled and couldn't succeed. Incompetent! ..After 2 hours, I requested for them to take out the sensors and refund me. Employee Mr. "Erik H" told me that I would have to be charged $50 to remove the sensor because I am causing them "extra work for us" wtf!!!?! I couldn't believe my ears. The audacity of him saying this. This is not how proper customer service of any business works, extremely unprofessional, and on top of that wants to show attitude with it too. If you cannot provide a service or product, then you refund the customer- it's just that simple! We complained to corporate, they apologized and we got sent to the Discount Tire El Cajon location and they formatted the sensors within JUST 15 minutes of me arriving there!!!!! ALSO, on top of this!!! The week prior, we got 4 new tires on our van with 4 pressure sensors. They told me that the sensor notification is on but will eventually turn off after you drive it; uhhhhh low tire pressure notification is still showing after a week !!! Now, I have to take it back to another location to get this issue fixed since I paid for 4 brand new sensors that they failed to program. This place needs a new manager, or the existing manager needs to retrain their employees, or fire certain ones at this location. Preposterous experience! Avoid this company (or at least this location) at all costs! You've been warned. Erik H and the 2 other employees here, you guys realllllly suck.

Way too slow, had me waiting for hours for something that could have taken an hour max, poor service.
