My cat was surprisingly happy after being picked up, his mouth is healing great and I got very helpful aftercare instructions. I would definitely come back and recommend this vet office to anyone.”

“5 starts are not enough. This is our regular vet and every time our puppy finds herself injured this team is there for her. Today she had a fox tail in the nose during my lunch and I drive her straight there. They had an open appointment, they saw her with so much love and care. They were able to scope her, located the fox tail and had her ready for pick up IN LESS THAN 6 HOURS. They took it a step further and updated her vaccines and trimmed her nails. From the front office, to the support staff to the physicians and surgeons all around an incredible team. So thankful for her to be a patient here.”

“Dr. Northrup and his staff are wonderful. There is a reason it's hard to get an appointment here. It is absolutely worth the wait. You and your pets are treated with kindness and respect. Vet care is always going to be expensive but they don't overcharge like several other veterinary offices in town.”

“So let me just give you a bit of a back story. I had been taking my dog to Napa West, and I couldn’t remember the last time I had a good experience. I called Napa Small animal hospital, hoping that they could somehow get us in, and they did!
My dog had recently given birth to 7 pups, and was being cared for in Sacramento.
When she returned- she was about 20lbs lighter and semi-traumatized.
They made sure to care for her pups, but completely neglected her.
I took my fur baby here and they made the process seamless.
I absolutely love how caring/gentle they are, I love how they explain everything in detail- so you don’t miss a thing.
I felt like they cared about my fur baby, and put my concerns at ease.
I’ll be bringing all the pups here before they are re-homed.

“On a Saturday morning, we suspected that a foxtail was embedded our pup's paw. He was not going to let me have a look at it. Napa River Hospital (my DMV was closed until Monday) graciously allowed me to bring Bosch in to have his paw checked. It was a foxtail and it was removed. Pup is on the mend and we will be forever grateful ! (Changing our DVM to Napa River Pet Hospital) This DVM practice is awesome !”

“We just took our dog Britney to Dr Cornejo. I don't understand the poor reviews because our experience was excellent. Her husband Jose was friendly, and I think people are confusing his direct approach for ruddiness. Our experience with Jose was great and he was personable. Our dog had a hurt paw, and we were very happy with the service. Our dog is a Doberman and very particular of how she's handled, and Dr Cornejo was excellent with her. We found her to be very knowledgeable and we have already scheduled an appointment for her to see our other dogs. We paid with credit card. The cash only comment is incorrect. Highly recommend!”

“I am extremely grateful for Napa Small Animal Hospital. I have been taking my cats there for close to 30 years. Even though Dr Rock and other wonderful vets have retired, I am very grateful for the compassionate love and support of Dr Sandra and Dr Dorothy who were such a blessing to me recently as one of my cats health had reached a point where we finally made the decision to have her put down. It was the only time I have experienced the vet giving a shot that so gently put her to sleep before the euthanasia. They sent her home cuddled in a beautiful cozy blanket. George, the assistant, is also very kind and compassionate. I'm sorry to read some the other reviews. My experience recently has been very good. I hope it continues to be that way for others!”

“This grooming salon works very hard, and i appreciate the women who work there. They all try their best to accommodate many people and their fur babies. They've done amazing jobs on their grooms as well as making each doggie feel welcomed and part of their salon family I've seen them get treated very badly and still get their grooms done. People should be more appreciative of other people's hard work. I would recommend every time. I appreciate you ladies and thank you for working so hard on keeping the puppies if Napa loved and beautiful”
