We came for a wine tasting and loved it. We were a group of 7 but had to be seated as 4 and 3, which turned out completely fine. The room is intimate (and gorgeous) and we could still go over and talk to each other after the tastings were finished. Our host at the table of 4 was genuinely one of the best guides/hosts/waiters/whatever I've had maybe ever- he cared, he knew his stuff, and he made sure we had fun. The wine was delicious, if a little pricey. Definitely recommend.

This is a required stop when in Napa Valley. The reds are amazing. This was our second visit, and it did not disappoint. We did the celestial tour and tasting this time, and the food paired exquisitely with the wines. Their S.L.V. and Cask 23 are our favorite.

Aaron exceeded our expectations with his knowledge and easy going personality. SLV treats veterans like royalty with a FREE tasting experience for the service member and spouse, plus 15% off purchases. The tasting room, which overlooks the vineyard, has a cool vibe and unpretentious elegance. The sofa and coffee table were comfortable, and the wines were delicious. We purchased two to take home.

A very enjoyable wine tasting. We were able to try 5-6 wines. Great indoor experience looking right at the mountains. The way they created the indoor space makes you feel like you’re outside and an arms length from the vines. Mo was great!

This winery produces majorly red wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. We went there during hot days so instead of testing outside, we were seated inside of a cell. Our flight that day included one Chardonnay and three Cabernet Sauvignon. Our sommelier Jojo was very nice and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions. We also required other wines that were not in the flight and he was more than welcome to do that. In general it was a pleasant experience tasting there. The reason that I only gave 4 stars is that the wine there does not really match my preference especially for the white wines. Their Chardonnay lacks its own characteristics and the Sauvignon Blanc is too fragrant to consume.

We had a great time at Stag's Leap, where we attended the celestial wine and food pairing. Despite being longtime members, we had never before taken the cave tour, which turned out to be a great experience guided by the knowledgeable and personable sommelier, Justin. While the food didn't quite satisfy our palates, the wines, particularly the Fay and Cask 23, were exceptional. Stag's Leap continues to impress us, and we eagerly look forward to future visits as dedicated members.

We visited in late April 2023 and the service was amazing and the wine was excellent. My wife and I enjoyed their Estate Collection Tasting Flight with Justin and everything was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this tasting experience if you’re traveling to Napa!

Such a great experience! First time here and Mo made us feel at home! He was so informative and fun! We learned so much and enjoyed the wine! A top napa winery definitely! We will be back! Also so cute that sheep were in a he vineyard overlooking the tasting room!

Excellent wines, no pretense (even though it's a hype-worthy winery), and an all around great way to start out day! Loved everything about it!

Stag’s Leap offers an enjoyable tasting in a beautiful view. It is a very independent tasting, which works nicely for groups wanting to just chat and sip some wine but it didn’t feel like much of an experience. We all thoroughly enjoyed the wine!

We had an amazing time with Terri! She was informative and her sense of humor made our day. My husband and I came from North Carolina and were able to experience an amazing tasting with great wine and a nice charcuterie board. We also met another person who was leading tours, Josiah (?). He was so funny and full of personality. Everyone at this winery made our experience so good and we highly recommend going here for an great and beautiful experience.

Great winery to visit. The tour of the cave was really cool. It is amazing how much these guides know about the wine. They know everything down to the last detail. It is absolutely beautiful scenery and the wines are fantastic.

Stags Leap is my favorite appellation and this winery was definitely a WOW. We were so impressed with the beautiful tasting room. Last time I was here they were in a small building near the road. We had a friendly welcome and were escorted to our private table. Jason was our wine expert and we loved hearing all the history and facts about the winery. We were very impressed with his knowledge ?. The Kay cab was our favorite. Wish I had the money to buy that really large bottle in the lobby. ?

Customers visit wineries and expect the wine tasting to be more for the experience. You guys definitely need to provide broad vintage. Providing all three 2019 glasses of wine was absolutely disappointing especially when all 3 were not the best I have tasted. Secondly, the staff who assisted us throughout the session were rude and made racist jokes. We all felt uncomfortable and uneasy. You guys should definitely work on training your staff on keeping it professional. We are there to relax and enjoy, not to hear racist jokes, and hear the staff curse in front of us. Overall, it was an absolutely disappointing experience, and I won't be recommending to my family and friends.
