I've been having my hair cut by David Putnam for over 31 years (1992 +- ) Sure... he's not always punctual... But he gives the best cut & I continue to return~ Give him a try~ You'll receive as many compliments I receive, I assure you !

David Putnam is by far the best hair stylist in Napa. I have been going to different stylists for 10 years now since I moved to Napa from SF. He took my fine thin hair and gave it texture and volume and transformed my hair. He understood exactly what I wanted and actually listened. He cares about his clients. He is a creative master and technical hairstylist and I highly recommend him! Be sure you make an appointment before you go to the salon because he gets very busy.Services: Blowouts

I recently got a haircut from David Putnam at Nevaeh salon. He actually listened to me and worked very hard giving me a great cut with layering and razor cuts to give me the shape I wanted. He's a real artist and a talented cuter. It the best cut since I moved to Napa 10 years ago. He is really worth it !

David is the best! He knows how to cut, color and do high and low lights. So, whenever we're in town, we make an appointment to have David do my wife's hair. Every few months works out great to do the highlights. The cutting is the problem in-between. I try to do so trimming, but of course this is touch and go with how it turns out. Late time I trimmed too high and uneven line. Best if you just go see David by appointment only!

Had an appointment with David Putnam at 3:00. Got to the salon and it was locked. He texted me to let me know that he had car issues and would be there soon. I let him know that I would be waiting in my car and to please text me when he arrived. I waited 30 minutes and texted to ask when he would arrive, but received no response. Texted again 15 minutes later to let him know I couldn't wait any longer, still no response from him. This was not the first time I've had this issue with I'm. If you want reliable service find another salon, or at least another stylist.

David Putnam is excellent hairdresser I have been going to him for 4 years and he's always cut my with hair very well. My hair is naturally curly and has a personality of its own and he's able to cut it so that it not only looks good after it's cut but it grows out well.

The most UNPROFESSIONAL hair salonUnfortunately I had high expectations for this place but was met with unprofessionalism in how she handled covid precautions, she started the appointment wearing a mask, but later started coughing and took off the mask, complaining that she “couldn’t breath”. She also did not clean the station after a client was done and before I sat down in the chair there was cut hair all over the chair-disgusting! I can live with the above issue! However, the following is harder to get over....First, I sent pics of my hair and also pics of what I wanted. She responded that she would be able to do what I wanted. What I ended up with was HORRIBLE!! My hair looked absolutely nothing like what I showed her. When I said I didn’t like how it was turning out she told me “IT’S JUST THE LIGHTING IN THE BUILDING AND THAT IT WILL LOOK DIFFERENT IN DIFFERENT LIGHTING” I didn’t want to make a scene even though I was not happy because she had another customer coming in at that time.I texted the hairdresser the next day to let her know that I was disappointed with my hair and that it looks nothing like what I showed her. I asked her to please fix it and she said “ I stand by my work 100%” and that she is “ booked all through the holidays” so she “doesn’t have time to fix my hair”. UNPROFESSIONAL! I ask for 50% of my money back to help put towards getting my hair fixed and she was UNSYMPATHETIC and didn’t care to help me fix this problem that she made!!
