All the makings of a lovely evening.. EXCEPT, 6 of us showed up an hour prior to our 8:15 dinner reservations for drinks at the Pavillion only to find fire pits blazing (on a 100° day) rendering it just plain uncomfortable. Inside, our drinks took 25 minutes to be delivered and were underwhelming across the board. Once in the dining room, lit somewhere between restroom and bus station, the service was pleasant and responsive. Appetizers were good, Fritto Misto and French fries were standouts. The main course was fairly disappointing. The lobster risotto was 1/2 “corn mouse” 1/2 risotto and just barely room temperature. The Dungeness crab ravioli also arrived luke warm. Pork chop over cooked, served with an oddly flavorless farotto (a risotto made with faro?) Overall, the bar and restaurant seem like they have some good staff but no real management setting a level of service and ambiance necessary to pull off what the place is selling. And the food is a lot of unnecessary flourish without the skill to pull it off. Maybe a restaurant shooting for this price point in Napa should just shoot for great fresh ingredients, well prepared, instead of all of the misplaced “fancy”

Gnocchi was room temperature. Ravioli was under cooked/chewy (needed a couple mins to be al dente) and not hot either. Brussel sprouts were fantastic. Service pretty good. Great ambience

Dinner was really good. We sat on the patio, and it turned into a beautiful evening. Service great, and we enjoyed The evening. I got the gnocchi, only complaint was it was a very small dish of pasta. It was delicious, but I shared a side with someone else. If I hadn't, the gnocchi wouldn't have been enough. Everyone else's portions seemed more filling. Overall- would recommend.

Brunch was outstanding. Everything we ordered as absolutely delicious. The brunch menu requires that you order 4 items with portion sizes adjusted for the size of your party. We didn't love this rigidity because we knew 4 items would be too much food for a party of 3. This format works better for a party of 4 or more. That said, we go back again and again for the Eggs in Pugatory!

We have dined at the Farm several times in recent years and decided to give it another shot since Sonoma Magazine was touting their new chef. Sadly our experience was a disappointment from the moment we arrived and the remainder of dinner. The apps (grilled bruschetta) and (white bean dip) were just ok lacking any flavors that were memorable. The server was disinterested on our night at the restaurant and failed to provide any commentary about the menu or specials. I had the pork chop that was dry and sweetened by an overpowering cherry garnsih. It's a shame because the setting is beautiful except for tables that weren't cleared and leftover dishes piled up. This is just another overpriced hotel restaurant and nothing more.

The food was unexpectedly bad. I ordered the pork chop, which was overcooked, tough and flavorless. My friend ordered the Fritto Misto entrée and it was a mess. None of the elements of the dish where identifiable it was just covered in a pale/unappetizing tempura. The wait staff was exceptional. One thing that was bothersome was that before dinner, we sat in the open lounge area, which is beautiful. A couple walked in with a large wolfhound looking dog. The dog was thirsty and put its head right on a stack of clean plates and it's nose on a water pitcher. Later, it went into the restaurant while we were eating. If the guests can't have consideration, the restaurant needs to have some boundaries.

For a $150 breakfast for two this restaurant does not meet the standards for that pricing. The food was actually very good but the service was that bad that it overshadowed what a great job the kitchen did. Looks like a fancy resort and it was very nice but the service at the table was awful. No one even came to fill or water unless we were able to flag someone down to ask or did anyone ever come to check that we were enjoying our food. This restaurant does not even deserve a 1 star rating.

Farm is a favorite of ours and over the years never fails to surpass expectations. Menu, food and wine are always great and service top notch. This visit was for our 23rd anniversary and we had a superb evening.

Another lovely evening at Farm Restaurant, including delicious food, attentive and friendly service and comfortable setting. The lobster risotto as a starter knocked it out of the park. Lots of lobster, creamy rice and slightly sweet, but very compatible sauce. The tuna carpaccio was also a winner as it was a generous portion, toothsome and well appointed. Main courses of scallops and florentine steak were shared. The steak was perfectly done medium rare and sliced off the bone in nice pieces. If the scallops were ordered again, we would ask for a fairly simple sear without the Mediterranean based sauce. The chicken dish was simple, but succulent. We are locals used to brining wine from our extensive holdings which we share with staff. One corkage was charged and two comped for the three wines we consumed. There was nothing about the evening that was not enjoyable. We will go again and again.

Walked in, waited almost 5 minutes for a host to come over to our party after 2 servers chatting decided to walk away (apparently wasn't their job to help at the host stand?). Asked to sit outside by an underdressed hostess. Told 30 minute wait, yet open tables outside which were never sat (I looked, twice). No “welcome to FARM, are we celebrating a birthday tonight!?”... when the reservation clearly denoted birthday. Seated in front of the service door to the kitchen, incredibly slow service (30 min for cocktails for 4 people, only 2 came at a time). Cracked martini glass. Asked server to see if a drink included a specific allergen, had to wait til the re-made martini arrived. Asked for the dining room lights to be dimmed, and was told “this is how it always is”. Great; thanks so much. Food was fabulous but no real hospitality for a restaurant of this caliber and very strong word of mouth recommendation.

A really unfortunate experience. Have had great meals prior. Not one dish was hot, not one. Lobster rolls over baked rolls with more mayo than lobster. I could go on but why. The waiter was darling and doing his best. Either overburdened or kitchen trouble. Ive had him before and he's really great. It was a birthday celebration for me that fell flat I'm afraid.

We had a nice dinner at Farm but competed with kids playing bocce ball and their wild game screams. Our dinner took forever and after waiting for about 75 minutes we had to ask the server what was going on. It may have had something with the 250 people in the wedding party they were catering that night. Not sure. But food was good.

We had a wonderful time at Farm! We enjoyed a family style lunch. Pedro our server was amazing and the food was delicious. We later went to the pavilion next-door and had a different experience. Our server was not the nicest nor the most attentive. We constantly had to ask for things twice, and the food took forever to get. I think the pavilion server was just not having a good day because everyone else seem to be having a good time! We hope to come back to the Pavillon and have a different experience.

I wouldnt normally leave a review as I think they are ever lasting howThis restaurant looks great but the service is terrible and the food isn't tasty. If you're staying in the hotel I would recommend you get takeaway or dine early as the place is understaffed so be prepared to wait a long time for anything. We waited 40 minutes to order drinks. The host told my 10 year old son to move out of her path
