Had a bad vibe from cashier lady(caucasian) . She Was snickering with bagging lady (caucasian)and exchanging looks . So we pay with food stamps and it seemed to have bothered the cashier lady that we were using food stamps and we are Mexican so she charged my wife’s debit card instead of using food stamps never returned our greetings and just completely presented herself as rude .Good thing my wife is very cautious with transactions and immediately noticed the error in the receipt as we were leaving. Went inside and communicated the issue with management . It was determined that ever single item had to be rescanned wich took some time and no one was able too find out why there was a mixup .as the bagging lady had to rebag every item again she passively aggressively bagged our food again crushing cupcakes and fruit in the process But without saying we all seemed to realize the cashier lady intentionally used my wife's debit card instead of food stamps .to prevent us from using our food stamps benefits We felt very strongly that this was intentionally done by the cashier lady for racist purposes . In my opinion any employee who excersises racial favoritism should be fired immediately. My wife and i are a little disturbed that we were treated like this in a luckys store when weve been here hundreds of times before

Terrible fruits and vegetables. They should throw him out and not sell them. A lot of their meat they sell is Brown/old. Their dairy products are only good for a week should be good for 2 weeks. The store has gone so downhill!

It's really sad that you have to call the store and nobody will answer the phone. Went through the automatic menu 5 times and no one would pick up the phone. I will take my business elsewhere.

Prefer economy groceries, in town, friendly, cleaner, better pricing. This "Lucky" chain is not a fav.some egg cartons outdate quickly, peanut butter selections are limited with oily tyes on shelf not mixing welly and separating easily. Could not find fresh gluten free bread with limited bread types and higher pricing than groceries with more floor space and more volume, lower pricing.Other stores have fresher eggs, such as trader joes, with better egg prices. Safeway has more types of lactose free milk. Whole foids has better ground chuck and healtjier sausage prepared daily.Ice cream cones at lucky ae ususLly limited to ones with peanuts pn top even though ones without peanuts were requested.Chickens are not baked long enough and drumsticks on baked chicken are partially raw at napa store, bright red inside and one had bloody leg bones with psrtially baked white meat so partially cpoked i hsd to cook it more at home, and selling for 9 dollars firxa very small chicken.Nov, 2022.

There is a cute little sandwich fairy working here in the deli who is single-handedly shaming Subways out of existence. She knows her worth and is just really, really good at her job or should I say art? Napa is a crazy overpriced tourist pit but every once and awhile you get lucky and find a, well, Lucky's. Go for a fresh made sub and stay for the reasonably priced groceries. Or you can take your chances and spend a lot more anywhere else on Trancas. I have already done that so listen to your old Aunt CeCe and be happy and have money leftover to put in your pocket.

Easy parking. Smaller store on Trancas makes it easy and fast to get in and get out. Love love their sandwiches. Either order or pre made sandwiches are great. Deli is fantastic. Meat department couldn't be nicer.

I been shopping at this store since I was a kid and seen the store grow and change! As a customer I was very overwhelmed with the experience I had at this store! I was at self service-scanning my own groceries when all I hear is a CUSTOMER complaining about a 10 cent BAG. This lady was going back and forth with an employee that told her about the 10cent rule. This is a state where we pay for a bag! So I don't comprehend why the customer had a big ordeal about the BAG! The POOR-employee had enough on how the customer was mistreating her and coming towards her! I do believe the Manager-Jenayln was near by...because the employee told the lady, from what I recall. Employee: I'm sorry but the bag is 10cents would you like to speak to my manager. The lady arguing about the bag: NO IM TALKING TOO YOU!Then cussed the POOR-employee out! I just can't believe management would let that happen! You see your employer trying to explain to the lady about the situation calmly and respectful and the manager Jenayln just letting the situation go overboard! As she standing right there! As a owner myself I would have took control and escorted the lady out! And have my employee to go outside or in the back to calm down. As an older lady I couldn't believe to see that a manager would have a customers back over an employee knowing the situation/ seeing the situation okay out!

I was using the do it yourself register and encountered a problem, the clerk who takes care of that section was having a long conversation with a customer, not about help, a woman's conversation, it seemed. I had to signal the customer that I neede assistance, the personal clerk had her back to me. It took several minutes before the clerk came to help, not good.

First of, I love Lucky's in the Bay Area.. But here in Napa? Everything isn't labeled. Their guide sign is not even helpful when looking for specific items. They separate goods that are supposed to be in same aisle.. And the workers? They are helpful when you insist of helping you look for it, but majority of them, they will give you a wrong aisle # making you waste your time... I shopped for 100+ items, some of them were easy to find but the other half was moved somewhere else hidden..I spent about 2 hrs looking for my items when I can even spend 30 mins for same # of units at Costco. Why? Because Costco is well-organized. Lucky Supermarket whether this location or the other one has major problem with organizing their products. Add more signs, it doesn't hurt to print more labels. Another one was the rudeness of a cashier named Isabella. Beginning of the transaction she already was throwing some shady attitude.. I placed all groceries at the conveyer for her to scan, I got yogurt in glass and she was pushing the glass that can break, but I remained calm about it.. I was even helping her bag my stuff so it would be faster bec I had a lot of groceries.. Since the conveyer was full of groceries I cannot anymore load 3 huge soda boxes I had so i pushed it at the front , not to mention I had to put in the cart all my bagged groceries and I asked her politely if she could scan the sodas and she said "later". I assumed she wanted to scan everything first before the sodas that's why she said "later". Ok, I know I will remember that and will remind her again. I was still bagging and she already closed the transaction without scanning the sodas and she asked me if I was getting the sodas and rolled her eyes. I got pissed but I just told her "yes that's what I told you earlier to scan". Then she scanned it.. But I didn't know she was doing a separate transaction. I already paid for the first one and that's the time she said the sodas weren't not included in the payment. Her : I was was not told that there were sodas. Me : I told you, you said later Her : No I didn't know. You didn't Me : No. I told you and you said later Her : I told you I can't remember you saying it (raised voice) Me : No I told you you even said later (sarcasm) Her : I'm telling you I did not remember you said it Me : If you can't remember then how come you replied to me (shrug shoulders). Pause Then she said "I'm sorry OKAY???" rolled eyes with squirm face. So I said "ok, but you have to be nice" Her apology wasn't sincere hence unacceptable.. And all workers were looking already, none stepped in and pacify things and esp their cashier. I am the customer and I talked to her nicely but if she will be rude to me despite her mistake then ofc I had to stop her.. I didn't even raise my voice but my sarcasm was enough to stop her from being rude to me. She is a cashier and she deals with customers daily, she should know what Customer Service is or else she aint ready to work or she may prefer to be at the back of the grocery...Still an amateur Visit date : November 20, 2021 - between 5-7pm
