Fivetown Grocery is a small, upscale grocery store located in the Village at the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa Valley. It offers a variety of farm-fresh, local ingredients and products, reflecting the five towns of Napa Valley. The store features a range of items, including house-made pasta and sauces, smoked barbecue, freshly baked bread, and a good selection of snacks and beverages. All food is made from scratch in small batches by Chef Vincent Lesage, ensuring quality and freshness. Customers can eat in or take food to-go. The store has a cozy atmosphere and is well-stocked, with many unique snacks and a nice salad bar. The staff are highly praised for being friendly, welcoming, and making visitors feel happy and inspired during their stay. Food options include sandwiches like tuna salad on a croissant and grilled cheese, though some find the sandwiches a bit dry. Prices vary, with sandwiches costing around $15 and beverages like La Croix or root beer reaching up to six dollars. While the produce is fresh and enjoyable, some customers note that wait times can be longer due to limited staff, especially during busy hours. Overall, Fivetown Grocery provides a delightful and memorable shopping and dining experience in Napa Valley.

The staff here has the right attitude BUT they have no clue how to operate a deli and there is no competent manager on site at 12:30 on a Sunday!! Very chaotic, takes 10 min, once one is at the order station, to just get an order placed...
