They are great at taking on a case and getting paid for it but offer no help to the elder.

My grandmother died one year ago while under the hospice care of Collabria. Like most people we read the reviews before agreeing to their service and saw more positive than negative. Therefore, I would have never predicted our experience turn out to be what it was. It's taken a year to write this review because watching her suffer in pain while transitioning was one of the worst experiences. My grandmother was discharged from home under the care of Collabria, with a promise of 3 visits per week and an On-call RN. The visits were supposed to include a aide that visited three times as well to help with cleaning my grandmother. However, this individual only came twice and getting her to come those two times was like pulling teeth. She along with the entire staff made it very clear that their visits was based on their convenience and pre-determined route. Therefore, we were limited to appointments that were conducive their appointment route, lunch breaks, and when they wanted to come. We even told the Aide that coming in the late afternoon because my grandmother lived in Vallejo was not feasible for us and the option she gave us was for her not to come at all. During such a vulnerable time in a persons life, you would think that the staff would extend empathy and grace. However, this was consistently absent. My grandmother would scream in agony from the pressure ulcers she developed and they had the audacity to limit pain medication and order a hospital bed the day before she died. The care we were provided was subpar and lacked consideration. This is not what hospice care is supposed to look like or feel like.

Collabria Care provided compassionate, professional and loving care for my sister dying of liver cancer. They made her transition into heaven much less painful. Kim especially provided emotional support and helped us through the process of scheduling her cremation. Thank you Collabria for all your excellent care, patience and emotional support!

As a former patient of Collabria's new director, Dr. Paul Laband, I have to say that I wouldn't trust him with my care when I was healthy and, based on my experiences with him, I wouldn't want him supervising my end of life treatment or that of anyone I cared about. Before he started his concierge medical service, later becoming director of this facility, I found him to be uncaring, not taking time to even notice that we had met previously. He ignored what turned out to be a serious condition and referred me to other physicians for every other (less serious) issue I mentioned to him, all of which were easily and professionally remedied by those other physicians.

I am 63 years old, I was diagnosed of Parkinson's disease at the age of 57. I had severe calf pain, muscle pain, slurred speech, frequent falls, loss of balance, difficulty getting up from sitting position. I was placed on Sinemet 3 times daily, it helped me but not very much. My neurologist advised me to try natural treatments and introduced me to Freedom Herbal Centre Parkinson's Disease Herbal formula, I read alot of positive reviews from other patients who used the treatm

I remember a long while back when relatives needed them, they were kind, and caring and stayed with patient and administered the medication. When, my father was critically ill, they had my brother go by the drugs and told him, he had to give the morphine to my father. Thank God, my father passed without drugs. BUT, these people had the nerve to make my brother deal with his dad's dead body. I don't quite know what they are good for anymore. I have heard this from other friend's even in other states. That Hospice barely did anything. I recommend getting/paying for a nurses aide instead, if you can. Overall, healthcare in this country stinks.

What a great organization. As my mom's health quickly declined they stepped in to help. I wish I had contacted them sooner, but her doctors didn't realize what bad shape she was in. Their grief counselling services were a true blessing. I highly recommend Collabria Care for anyone who needs hospice or grief support.

My Grandma died this last Sunday evening, September 22nd and although she was 99 years old it was not expected. She had just a short visit in the hospital and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Being the strong woman that she was she decided at that time that she was ready to die and started to go downhill quickly. We knew that her wish was to die at home so we immediately arranged for that. This is when Collabria Hospice came into our lives. This was the best thing that could have ever happened to my grandma and our family. Before my Grandma died, I knew what hospice was, but I never knew how incredible their service was or how badly it was needed. Every single person that assisted us through Hospice during this experience was incredibly caring and compassionate. The nurses and the Chaplin spent hours at the house when they knew we needed them the most. Every time we called them, which is 24/7, they responded immediately. My Grandma was able to die at home because Collabria Hospice was there for her. This would not have happened as peacefully as it did without them. Thank you to all the Collabria staff that touched our lives at the time we needed them the most.

What a wonderful organization. As my mother's health declined, the nurses & aides from Collabria allowed us to keep her in her apartment. They made helpful recommendations on medications and equipment that would make Mom more comfortable as she lived out her last days. They treated her with respect and with a sense of humor, which Mom loved. I don't live in Napa, so I was zooming in to assist every few weeks. Fortunately for me & my siblings, the Collabria staff was there to provide consistency and useful information.
