I had never deposited a physical check with the BMO app; but the time frame for my previous bank was less than 48. I deposited the check on a Friday. The online prompt said it would be posted in 1 to 2 days (They did not state business days) . My deposit did not show pending and I emailed asking why. I recieved a reply that stated After reviewing your profile, I can confirm your mobile deposit for $xxxx.xx is currently pending. The funds from this deposit should be available in your account tomorrow. So on Tuesday I called after only $500.00 of the check was avalible. They never stated anywhere that the would only make a portion of the check avalible after deposit. Now I've been told this is STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR ON-LINE DEPOSITS. Since I cannot find that on the app. I thought it worth sharing the info.

Started a loan with BMO 3 months ago and due to BMO delays my lock extension expired costing me 4 thousand dollars. I highly suggest not using this bank for any type of loans. If I could give them zero stars I would.

They had me standing there for 10 minutes waiting while there was 3 cashiers, two doing nothing let me emphasize that NOTHING. Then the "supervisor" lady whatever her name was went up to Avina the cashier; yeah lady i remember your name. And pretty much told her to help me. Both then told me i didnt have enough of my money in my account and in the undeposited check in my hand to do any type of cashing or withdrawal. People put half their checks in and keep the other half cash all the time. Or small amount in cash.Tried to say its cause i was 2.95 in my account. One dont lie to me. I had 80 cents in my account. Two. Hope you never get to the feel the rage i have for my own money being kept from me. Thats the point of cashing a check. Or depositing with cashing it.At least when the male supervisor guy i think his name is Chris. When he was there things went smoothly didnt see anyone just standing there or anyone having an unnecessary wait time.

Allison is super rude! I usually enjoy going into to BMO all the other girls and eddie are always amazing !! Allison told me I'm the reason BMO doesn't have any cards to issue customers right away because I have asked for a few cards to be reissued to me she read it right out of the system saying " oh you must be the reason we dont have any cards because u have asked several times " My other bank redwood credit union will offer cards as many times as you need with a smile ... She also took a deep breath and showed how annoyed she was ! What a pleasant employee you guys have !!

ATM never works. One teller helping customers while two other employees standing around talking while they have a long line due to the ATM never working.

Worst customer service by this branch manager. No return phone calls or email response. Needed to drive an hour to try to resolve account issue.

Terrible customer service at this bank branch in Napa. Ignored email and phone messages. I had to drive an hour to resolve an account problem. Main customer service phone service equally poor.

Looks like lots of bad reviews because of one bad employee. I have not interacted with her, so I can't speak to that however she no longer works there. I've been banking with them for 10+ years and am happy to keep my business there. All staff I've worked with are friendly, greet me by name and have been very helpful.

Overall terrible service. Precious is the reason I'm choosing to close my final account here, very rude and passive aggressive. She'd much rather talk to you about her family than actually work. She deceived me about my odds of being approved for a credit card, lied about the process of what it would take to close a secured card that I have and when I attempted to voice my complaints today she rudely just said, "Have a nice day!" as if it were my queue to leave. Save your time/money and bank somewhere else. I moved to Wells Fargo across the street and have never been happier.I'd give this branch a 0 if I could, but I'll give the one star to the guy who works in the back who deals with business accounts. He was always very respectful, straightforward and helpful.

This bank has changed hands recently and it hasn't been for the better. The new ATM machine can't read State of CA checks when depositing. This requires going in the bank to make a deposit if you have a state check. The hours are 9-5 so it's hard to deal with without taking time off to do banking during work hours. For me this is too much having to be put out to work around the bank instead of the bank servicing me better as a customer. The tellers that work in my local branch are real nice people and if it was them making the decisions I'm sure things would be better. Like most places it's the leadership that is the problem. I've talked to multiple people about the issue with the ATM and everyone knew about the problem and let it stay that way for months and it's still not fix as I'm writing this.During the Corona-virus shut down the hours and service got even worse. For me this is the straw that broke the camel's back and I'm looking for a new bank to put my money in.

They sent my card out and I never received it as well as sending my card out they sent out a pin code to activate the card . I've never had my card sent out with the PIN to the card. I've never heard of it .

I would give zero stars if I could. I came in to set up an account. A 10 minute wait, from there words turned into an hour and a half. I was on a 30 minute lunch break and they completely screwed me out of an hour I will never get back. They kept saying a few minutes a few minutes until I was incredibly late. They provided misleading information. On the accounts as well.
