Easy check-in and check-out. Great service. Clean and comfortable. Little loud in hallway but guests settled down quickly and were respectful.

While I had a wonderful experience booking my hotel room, once I arrived to the location - the customer service from most employees was subpar, and many are severely lacking any expertise or knowledge within the hotel industry. Ashton, in particular, was quite rude, disagreeable and incompetent at managing even the most standard issues and/or requests. The first evening of our arrival, we weren't even greeted at check in. I also inquired about any information needed for an early checkout, as I needed to fly out of San Francisco early Monday morning. I was told that checkout would be usual and that our vehicle would be parked at the front of the building for valet retrieval. After arriving, we went up to our room after a long day of travel to shower and prepare for our evening - we found that our shower was backed up (pooling at the shin) with sewer water. When we called to have it fixed, it took until the next morning - after several additional requests - to finally have an engineer sent to the room. There must've been some wedding event because our room and several others kept calling down with noise complaints Sunday evening. Nothing was done by the staff. When I checked out early Monday morning, the staff working had very little knowledge of the checkout process, how to credit my account for loyalty credits, or even where to find our car keys. Here's the kicker: the car wasn't outside as promised upon check-in and they had NO idea where it was. The staff member wasn't really sure where they stored the keys or parked the cars. She made several phone calls (to no avail) and then walked us down to a garage - with our luggage - several blocks down from the hotel and told us our car was at the very top level; she was sorry for the inconvenience of having to walk up because the elevator was broken. My companion went up first, could not locate the car and then checked the other levels. After she couldn't locate the car, I then went to check - where we were told it was parked, as well as the other levels and it wasn't there. I'm now getting worried about getting to San Francisco in time for my flight. We then brought the staff member to check, and none of us could locate the car. And the staff member had no idea how to help and couldn't reach anyone with information. So I had to leave my companion, catch an Uber to SFO, and hope that they found the vehicle so that my companion could get back home. To add insult to injury, we were told later that the car was there, all night, and had been confirmed by valet. They apologized for the confusion. Really? After three different people combed the entire car garage, someone from the valet team magically found it?!! The car wasn't parked where it was supposed to be; just apologize for that! In speaking to Ashton, she expressed very little care or concern about the error and issues on their part, the inconvenience of needing to order a car, or nearly missing my flight. She insisted to argue that I'd been mistaken about our missing vehicle, and offered to remove the daily valet charges. Do NOT patronize this hotel. There are far better options in the Napa area with better amenities, at a similar price point, and with experienced staff.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The many nice touches and attention to detail made us feel spoiled. Centrally located in downtown, an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Both Luke at the front desk and Justin at the Rooftop Bar provided exceptional service which helped make our visit even more nice and memorable. Highly recommend Archer if you are going to be in the area.

Amazing experience. Concierge and front desk service comparable to the Ritz. Spacious, modern rooms with lovely details and touches. Housecleaning staff was so friendly and respectful. Fantastic 1st street location. Can't wait to go back!

Didn't stay here just swung by for rooftop sunset and cocktails. Service was great and the view of the sunset is stunning! For sure stop by for a rooftop drink and sunset if you have a chance.

Celebrated my husband's birthday and we got champagne and chocolates for free. The front desk was super nice and accommodating. I love the location of the hotel since it's in the middle of downtown. It was walking distance from wine train station.

What an awful experience yesterday. We came to the rooftop for drinks. They had the worst music I've ever heard in my life playing so loudly our waitress couldn't take our drink order. I had to scream right into her ear and she still couldn't hear. Upon leaving, we stood next to 5 people in the elevator all saying that was the worst music they've ever heard in their lives. The fact that management allowed this to carry on, tells me they are grossly incompetent.

This hotel truly went above and beyond our expectations. Despite having only visited a couple of times, they remembered us by name upon arrival, including the car valet! One of the hosts even took the time to hand-draw a picture of our sweet Italian Greyhound on a note they placed in our room. They also provided a fluffy, clean dog bed, bowls for food and water, a new dog toy, and a cute bandana for our pup. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, featuring a comfy bed, Nespresso machine, wine, water, and snacks. My husband and I enjoyed cuddling on the balcony in front of the outdoor fireplace, overlooking the stunning Napa landscape. Check-in was a breeze, and we were always greeted by name throughout our stay. I've been to beautiful hotels all over the world, and this one qualifies as one of the best! It's super dog-friendly and highly recommended if you're ever in Napa, CA.

My second stay at the Archer Hotel Napa was a mixed experience. The room was as beautiful as I remembered from my first visit with friends and family. The luxurious beds ensured a comfortable night's sleep, and the ambiance was top-notch. However, I must dock a star this time around. I had meticulously planned this stay to celebrate my husband's birthday with another couple, opting for the balcony room with a fireplace for the promised views. My slight disappointment arose when I realized that there were larger balconies with fireplaces that offered even better views, which I wasn't aware of when booking. Despite my frequent calls to the hotel to ensure everything was perfect for the special occasion, the option for a larger balcony room was never mentioned. It seems unclear how guests are expected to request a specific room type without prior knowledge or experience. Given that I had mentioned the birthday celebration and booked well in advance, I was surprised that the hotel did not proactively offer us the larger balcony room, especially since it was available at the same price. It would have enhanced our group experience and made the celebration even more memorable. When I inquired about switching rooms upon arrival, I was informed that it was too late, which was disappointing. Overall, while the Archer Hotel Napa offers a luxurious experience, I recommend that they improve communication regarding room options and consider proactive upgrades for special occasions, especially when guests book well in advance and mention celebrations. This small adjustment could elevate the guest experience and ensure that every stay is truly exceptional.

Rooftop bar had very poor service. Sadly they didn't seem to know how to take drink orders while he was on his phone the whole time. On top of that when we asked to leave a tab open but that told us that they couldn't because they were closing. Yet they kept taking orders from people long after us.

This review is solely based on the Valet at The Archer. We have stayed her plenty of times and this last time we had a huge problem with the valet. We trusted our car would be safe with valet as we were guest at the hotel and when we got our car the next morning a homeless man had broken into our car, and slept in there was drinking while in the car since bottles of liquor were found he urinated inside the car and a used condom was also found inside. We were so disgusted and shocked! We immediately got a hold of the mgr which they were very helpful with taking the car to get cleaned and service and that's why this review is solely based on the valet portion of the hotel.

The staff cost me $2,000! I booked a room and our friends tried to book a room at the same time but they were told the hotel was booked out. I called and explained I had a non refundable rate but since our friends couldn't get a room and it was still three weeks away plus I was calling 30 minutes after booking it could I get a refund. She had said yes so I cancelled my room. I got my visa statement and there was a $2000 charge from the Archer. I reached out to the manager explaining what had happened and he said they have a strict no refund policy. This was before we were supposed to stay in our room I checked, and the hotel was completely booked out. So technically, they charged me for my room and then charged somebody else for my room and I couldn't get a room. I am so upset that they have not refunded me I even offered to take a credit because I don't live that far away from Napa and he said no. Do not stay at this hotel!

Paid a premium to stay here for the amenities (rooftop fire pits, bar, etc). We checked in and were told of a $200 "amenities fee" that had never been mentioned previously. Why do I have to pay extra on top of the room to use the standard hotel amenities? Then the rooftop was closed for half of our stay, making all the amenities we wanted to use inaccessible. I talked kindly to staff about it and was told there was nothing they can do. Room was absolutely tiny, prepare to step over your luggage. Housekeeping knocked once before letting themselves into my room, I didn't even have time to get to the door to answer - I found this quite jarring. Customer service made this a 0.

Hotel valet crashed my car into a wall. Management is trash and directed me to 3rd party insurance Allianz, scam company. Was told they would take care of any losses or damages - had to pay out of pocket & the manager Laura (Manager of Archer Hotel) has ignored me since. She's basically giving me the run around and telling me all issues have to be settled with insurance. This would be fine if their scam insurance company actually answered any sort of email or calls. Had to write a letter to the department of insurance to get any sort of responses. This hotel is bad business, beware.
