Nice hotel, but definitely not worth the $750 price tag. Rooms were clean. Junior suite was relatively small, but we didn't use the small living room. Building was not modern, with cracks in hardwood floor and older oak furniture. Moderate street noise. Very nice modern bathroom. Service was not at the level of a $750 hotel, but wasn't bad. Saturday night live music and dancing was really fun. Hyatt globalists get the entire breakfast included except alcohol.

Beautiful hotel... the corner suite with tub is worth it.
Lobby performance was a nice touch.

Overall the stay was very good. One night there was a trivia night on the 2nd floor outdoor patio that was very loud when we were trying to relax in our room. I feel our hotel room should be a place we can go and relax. But it went on for over an hour and was very annoying.

We had an amazing stay at Andaz, in the thick of dt Napa. Love the liveliness but getting in mid-party on a Friday evening in the lobby was just a tad overwhelming - we’ve had worst welcomings, though! Loved the food — suggest more easily accessible water bottles for guests! Still, great time.

We had a nice stay at the Andaz Napa last week. In terms of location, you can't get more ideal. When you walk out of the front doors of the hotel, you're in the middle of picturesque downtown Napa, footsteps from restaurants, tasting rooms, shopping, etc.
We stayed in the Tower Suite -- it was a large room on the top floor with high vaulted ceilings, a separate living space, a soaking tub, wrap-around windows, etc. We self parked in the garage behind the hotel, and the elevator was broken... not the greatest for luggage, but that's the price we paid to skip valet!
The overall stay was nice, but there were a few minor pain points that surprised me. First, our bathroom trash can was full from the previous occupant. We alerted the front desk and it was remedied quickly, but it did make me wonder what else housekeeping may have skipped over in between guests. Second, the climate control was struggling... it may have been the vaulted ceilings, but it was still uncomfortably warm even set at the lowest temp. Last, we tried to use our room credit on the Mercantile Terrace, and I was told they did not have stock of the one wine I wanted to order on the terrace. The bartender made it sound like there may have been stock... somewhere... just not on the terrace. I would have gladly walked downstairs and ordered there if that would have been an offered solution, but it wasn't.
We came, we saw, and I think we both agree Napa isn't it for us... so we likely won't be back, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. We generally have nice stays at Hyatt properties, and will patronize others in the future!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. My original hotel cancelled my room without notifying me and sent me here to Andaz. Which I'm so grateful they did. My booking company was going to make me repay for another reservation after a 2 hour phone call with them, because my original hotel didn't notify ANYONE that they cancelled my room. Luckily Kaylee one of the front desk managers was working and she was able to get us a BEAUTIFUL room at no extra charge. While also giving us some complimentary wine. 10/10 experience Its also walking distance to many restaurants and shops which we loved

Great location to stay if you’re visiting downtown NAPA.
You have to walk around the hotel for self serve parking or valet.

Was one of our favorites in Napa. Just visited August 2024. Prices were inclusive of amenities. Now subdivided so the final bill is much higher. Service was subpar. Food was average. We will not return.

We had such an amazing time at the Andaz Napa and highly recommend it! Even before our stay, Molly, one of the managers reached out to answer any questions and provide recommendations for our trip. She welcomed us on our arrival and addressed us by our names when we saw her in the hotel. Many other staff members also did the same and it always felt like we were returning home to a warm welcome. The vibe in the hotel is great, it’s perfect for a couples getaway and close to everything Napa offers.
The rooms were spotless upon arrival, the beds super comfortable with high quality sheets and bedding. If you can, splurge for the suites with a large soaking tub and you won’t regret it after a long day of walking the wineries.
I love to stay at the Andaz brand hotels as they each have a different feel to them, incorporating aspects of their location and atmosphere into the hotel. This one is equally unique and I’m sure you will find it as inviting as we did.
Nearby activities: Westwood Hills park for a hike with a great view

We visit Napa annually for a lot of years. Many of those years, we stayed an Andaz Napa. Over the years, it become very sad to see the quality of service and overall ambience decline at pretty fast speed. The rooms are still ok, but not for ~$500/night. Hallways, doors, bar stools are all "tired". We used to be greeted at the door, now we are kind of an afterthought.
We arrived slightly earlier, and our room was not ready. Even though we have been coming to Andaz for some time and have been offered free upgrades before, this time, we had to negotiate (yes, like at the bazaar in Asia) the increase in our fare per night. Started at $60 per night increase and we ended up settling for $30/night.
Archer next door is at the same great location and at the same price point. You will see me there next year.
