I called in order to get a quote. I gave them my information, including insurance information. I figured they would check with my insurance to see if it was covered. They actually filed a claim. It turns out it was under my deductible so insurance wouldn’t pay anything. Now I have a claim on my record with no benefit.I ended up getting it replaced for significantly cheaper but had to take my car in. It might be worth it to you for Safelite to come to you. Safelite should be able to give you a quote without filing a claim, however. If they cannot check with an insurance company without filing a claim they should tell you to check first on your own. I would never get another quote from them because the entire quote process was far from transparent.

I'm upset with the Menifee. CA Safelite location, because they didn't transfer the electronic gate key sticker from my old windshield to my new windshield.I read on their website that they transfer the stickers from the old windshield to the new one, but that didn't happen on mine, so I had to pay $25 for a new electronic gate key.Safelite should refund me the $25 I had to pay to replace the electronic gate key they failed to save!

My husband brought my car in about 2 months ago to have my windshield replaced. The technician that replaced it loosened the screws on my wiper arms and didn't tighten them correctly (per the dealership that fixed it) causing one of the arms to stop working WHILE IT WAS RAINING and WHILE I HAD MY YOUNG GRANDSON in the car. This was a huge safety hazard, I'm just thankful that it wasn't the drivers side. On top of that, their phone system is horrible!!! I could not get a live person on the phone to inform them about this. Never again!! I'll pay more money to have another shop replace my windshield if it ever needs to be done again.

Unfortunately, I was referred to Safelight by my insurance company. I dropped off my car. When it was ready, one of the staff looked at my replaced glass and said “I would not have put that type of glass on this car” however, they sent me off. That day it was raining. They did not calibrate my sensors and my windshield wipers wouldn’t turn on. The speedometer on the windshield was crooked and none of my windshield sensors were working. Not only did they not check their work before sending me off, it was a danger for me to be driving with my windshield wipers not working while it was raining. I had to then go back for them to fix this problem. I called the manager and asked for a refund of the $500 that I paid. Safelight already charged my insurance and then I paid $500. The manager Fabian agreed that this was dangerous and agreed to refund the money I had already paid and then they installed a Honda windshield on my car. They did replace the windshield with the Honda part. However, I called multiple times about the refund. Fabian did respond saying that he didn’t know why it wasn’t going through but he would “look into it.” After following up multiple times, Fabian stopped responding and I never received the refund. This place is extremely unprofessional and they do not follow up with their promises. I would never come here again.

Okay, so we scheduled our appointment on the 10th of August for the 19th. We arrive at appointment 1/2 hour before at 1:30 only to be told they don't have the windshield and have to order it. Okay... uhm, you didn't order it when we made the appointment or checked to see if you had it? Then, we rescheduled for the following Saturday at 8:00 a.m. When we arrived about 15 minutes prior, they went to check and guess what, no windshield. The thing is my husband called every day from Wednesday to Friday and was told, apparently by the call center that they had the glad. By now, I am upset. I don't go crazy on them, but asked why they couldn't have called to save us the trip. I believe in customer service and treating people how you want to be treated. I walked out and let my husband handle it. I gave them four stars instead of a three because they gave us a huge discount for our troubles when we finally got it fixed this past weekend. They did the job right. Make sure when scheduling an appointment that you get their direct number and speak to the manager to ensure your glass is in stock prior to driving down there. I'm just saying. You will avoid unnecessary trips and frustration.

horrible service, I had an appointment from 8-12...technician didn't show up until 6:30pm...no apology, no acknowledgmen, no discount. Bad service and it seems to come from the top, poor management. Thanks for calling me back Fabian (manager)evidently calling back customers is not a priority, go elsewhere is you want good service because these guys don't know what they are doing.

A very good windshield service center, very clean , very prompt, and easy . The lobby is large , you have coffee and a big screen tv to watch and WiFi to, I only had to wait barely 1 hour , I didn't mind waiting at all, my insurance was good to me. Only out of pocket was $200, so OK.

Hoorible customer service. I am insured with State Farm insurane My car had a winshield repair that needed to be done I called my insurance and scheduled to have it repaired with Safelite I was supposed to be contacted in 2-3 business hors as stated by my claims dept. waited 3 days and finally I called to schedule the reapir myself, It took them 1 1/2 weeks to coordinate. They schedule my appopintment for 11 am the day of at 7:30. I receive a text "today is the day to bring your car" so I continue on with my plan. I coordinated for someone to drop me off and someone to asssit me so I could pick up my car in like 3 hours (CAr needed Calibration). I receive a text an hour before that my appointment has been rescheduled for another week because the glass did not come in. Just poor customer service.

The tech who helped us was awesome Joshua is his name. Had our car back quick and he did an excellent job replacing our windshield. He was very polite and helpful with answering any questions or concerns my wife and I had. I'm glad we came here and I'm glad to have met Joshua. Keep up the great work!

Supply chain issues.I don't know let me ask my supervisor.Well I'm only an hour behind I'll be there in another hour.These are excuses I hear out of businesses on a daily basis.From unprofessionalism to showing up late to just having a general laxidasical attitude and not caring about your job.I experienced none of that with Safelite.They communicated with me clearly.They showed up exactly on schedule.The person who arrived was professional and knowledgeable.Thank you Safelite for the kind of service I have been used to most of my life and has been lacking since the pandemic.I highly recommend Safelite for any of your windshield repairs.

I brought my car into safelight for a glass replacement and during this they couldn't calibrate my sensors despite them working when I brought it in. They then claimed the unit was damaged somehow and they would fix it, after 3 ?????? they still haven't. They are now saying the glass was damaged at the sensor and that it is my fault for bringing it in damaged, despite photos that show the damage being at the bottom of the windshield when the sensor array is at the top. Shoddy service is one thing, being bad liars is even worse.
