Made a purchase on an Indoor Rain Inc. plan to demo with friends and family to receive my air purifier/vacuum for free. Anyways, my fiancé and I sat together to come up with our list of 12 people or demos and once that list was solid and we knew we had a really good shot at being successful at the Book and Ride program and getting this really cool machine for free. So, we scheduled 8 appointments in the first two weeks knowing we needed to knock them out right away and not drag it out for the 6 months we were given in the plan. We conduct 3 appointments all on separate days within the first 2 weeks leading up to a day where we had 5 on a Saturday. Our "rep" Sam, not sure of his last name but he works out of the Murrieta office, was assigned to all 5 of our Saturday appointments and we didn't make it past appointment #1. Why you ask..... well Sam was absolutely AWFUL... total night and day from the other 2-3 reps we had previously (Ariel, Ken and I think one other gentleman- I give them SIX stars across the board. Great customer service, polite, knowledgeable, professional, etc.).Sam was SO rude to the first family we demo'd, fyi, demo's are supposed to be fun- zero pressure, just checking out an awesome product while hanging out with friends. Well, after our friends declined to buy this $4k machine Sam spent and addition 40-50 minutes outside of the demo questioning our friends as to why not. He literally asked them over and over and over, like a grimy used car salesman. The experience was so gross!Sam questioned our friends finances, questioned their unwillingness to commit to a $110 monthly payment, why they couldn't just get 12 of their friends on board to enter into the Book and Ride program to get it free, he just went on and on.....for 40-50 minutes!!! In their own living room! This is not counting the demo- the interrogation was it's own beast. It was so uncomfortable, to say the very least. After finally getting Sam to move his demo equipment outside of the home and into his car we had to apologize to our friends profusely, to which they were just mind-blow as to how we could have thought bringing this person into their home was okay. Can you even image the embarrassment?!?!Needless to say the other four families for that day declined to participate in the demo's after hearing from appointment #1how it all went down and we are now stuck paying for a product we had planned to get for free and were well on our way to doing so before SAM blew it for us.I would NEVERRRRRRRR ever commit to any business with Indoor Rain Inc. or Sam, who I have spoken to numerous times and believes he did nothing wrong. He responds to messages regarding his behavior and the position he has left us in, in a condescending manner with ZERO professionalism, empathy (Why would he? He already has our commission) or common courtesy.*Side note: You cannot choose who you get to "ride" with you, so BEWARE, you might end up with Sam who will single-handedly blow your chances of completing the Book and Ride program and you'll be paying $110 a month just like us.
