Took my grandson's Xbox in because it was broken they advertise they pay for working or non-working consoles went way out of my way then they informed me it has to turn on before they could give me any money for it well it's broken that's why I brought it there so I could not complete my transaction absolutely ridiculous

Customer service, customer service, customer service... I miss working for this company, and the store's staff is not at all where it should be at. Sister stores do it better. The selection here isn't that great obviously because it's such a small place. When brought up with legitimate issues on customer service issues all that is brought up is an excuse instead of an ," I understand and let's see what we can do to take care of you..." Followed up by then explaining what to do the next time to avoid another issue. Educate the guest. The staff here has changed too much, but the service quite frankly is in need of retraining to avoid potential corporate complaints.

I called Elijah close to closing time and he went above and beyond to assist me in finding a game for my son. He also educated me on different game consoles. He assisted me all the way up to closing time, that's customer service you can't find anymore!

i ordered a game here and at my expense, i ordered the wrong game. i gave them a call and they told me to drive all the way back for the refund, i let them know they'd be seeing me in the next 20 minutes. when i got here, to my surprise the store clerks have shut down the store an hour early. i'm not mad they shut it down early, im mad they told me to drive all the way back just to shut down the store. if you're going to shut the store down early, it's best to tell your customers. i'm getting my refund tomorrow morning and i'm never coming back to this establishment. hire better customer service, or at least hire someone who keeps your establishment open at the times it's advertised open. very upset, time and money now wasted.

The people that work here are obnoxiously rude, and the selection sucks. Go to Best Buy or buy on Amazon. Much less of a headache.

I guess a cool store for those who are into these things, I am not, but my husband and 3 out of 4 of my kids are. Came in the other night for the new GOW early release pre-order/pick up shin dig. It wasn't overly crowded or busy, so it was apparent they had a good system running. They let people purchase ahead of time and then come back to pick up at 9 PM (east coast release time) and didn't close their store to allow customers to have this "early access" and although I don't get the hype around it, I was just super appreciative that the employee asked for an ID when my husband tried to use my card to purchase his game (while I waited in the car for him), I really appreciate the extra security measures taken, kudos!

Full disclosure: I'm typically a Game Stop hater.This is the single best Game Stop I've ever visited.The folks at this store really knock it out of the park with their knowledgebase, courtesy, and helpfulness. These guys don't get all annoying and pushy like employees at a lot of other stores. Whenever a crowd happens into this store I always see the employees moving the line as efficiently as possible.This location tends to have a good stock of various new and used games. I've been able to grab a few rare games here from time to time.Because of these dudes I was able to snag a copy of the much sought after special edition for Metroid Dread - something I've been waiting for almost 2 decades. I'm truly thankful.

I'd leave less stars if I could. It's so simple to work in a store setting that has a steady pace, and allows for down time to sit and chat, or scroll on your phone.This being said, I don't plan on returning to this store as this is the second irritating visit I've had here. I thought, maybe it's possible it was an off day for a release the previous time.Upon walking in, the gentleman with the long-hair and unkempt beard, did a simple head nod. We're not friends and in another place, this is disrespectful and rude. You could just tell he hates his job of sitting in slow hours waiting for the shift to end.Maybe moral is low, maybe it's hard time find good and honest employees.I do hope that the general manager is able to see this, as your employees openly spoke while I was the only customer in the store, that your name was used frequently, paired with profanity. I doubt they would say this to your face. The person with long hair said they would have quit today, if it wasn't for the other male employee speaking about coming up short on numbers frequently and it wasn't the same as other stores. Maybe this is why. How can a sale be done if someone is so uncomfortable with the environment created by the crew.The main reason I'd like to share this is for improvement. If you'd like to quit, quit and leave that energy for yourself. Let others enjoy the time window shopping and potentially purchasing something. If you hate the manager, and the company as a whole, speak in the back and leave it there. I hope those employees find a job that makes them spread positivity, rather than what I experienced today. Also, if I was the manager or the other employees that they talked so badly about, I would hate to work with this particular crew. I'd much rather have them tell me to my face, in a tactful manner. Not metaphorically spit on my name.

When you enter a business where your lack of knowledge could be 'blood in the water' for sharks, it is incredibly amazing when you are treated with the kindness of an old family friend! This was my experience today meeting Casey, the store lead, at this GameStop! I have not owned a gaming system in years and was debating which of the platforms to invest in. Casey walked me through all the pros and cons, after asking about my gaming needs!, and giving me options and suggestions. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable with my decision- which included looking for it at nearby competitors because GameStop currently was out of stock! He did not try to push me into any lesser option - even though he had available stock! I cannot recommend this store more highly, and if Casey's leadership is reflective of his personal customer service- only magic happens in this place! Thanks Casey!!

This review is regarding the product protection plan. I attempted to warranty a switch that was covered under thier product protection plan. The screen just went black on it, no damage.From the start the employees were treating me like I did something wrong. The manager told me they ordered a replacement, then they said they can't warranty the switch because my son peeled off the sticker with the serial number. They were able to verify the numbers because the switch would still work when it was on the dock. even though they could verify the serial number the ultimately said no because a sticker was not on the switch, Bottom line is they gave me the run around and wasted a weeks of my time , only to cop out on thier obligation. the switch was in demand during this time, which would have made it costly for them, but it's no excuse. If you read the fine print on the product replacement plan it states they can choose to not stand behind thier claims for literally any reason they want . So if it's a item that's in demand like a ps 5. I would not count on thier p.r.p. Every other Experience I had with the store has been well.
