Just went there last week and the new set up is great, the guys very polite and helpful they had some drinks and offer the best service, Frank and Harry right on the spot about our needs in this business the guy at counter top super worry about me getting all the materials plus mentioned some I forgot and of course added to the list, with almost 30 yrs in the plumbing trade I can tell you this place is a place to go for your materials, thanks guys you made me feel like home in there.

Service is good when it's your turn to be attended to. 1 guy always on the computer, another 2 has some kind of attitude, the guy with lots of tattoos is the best person in the bunch, very helpful and gives advice and options so your project can be completed. Not too much selections for what I needed. Maybe for basic plumbing project is fine. I was also advised to go to another hardware who carries what I need. Keep up the good work mr. Tattooed man, sorry I didn't catch your name but thanks for the help.

When you go in to a professional plumber supply because you dont have faith Home Depot can help you with a pipe fitment issue and the counter clerk suggests, not a solution to your problem, but says "you should just pay a plumber to do that"That's not good customer service, that's disrespectful sarcasm.Yes I'm not a plumber. I'm a civil and general engineering estimator and supervisor. (Including underground wet utilities)So the suggestion that I infuse a plumber into my simple fitting process is an insult.

Went in for some advice on extending a gas line from a stub out to a bbq island. The employee, Matt, was less than courteous. I'm not a contractor, but I'm educated and have common sense/logic. He offered minimal assistance and I was advised to use a professional plumber. It appeared i was wasting Matt's time. Matt referred me to a gentleman who was standing behind me. That's fantastic advice, Matt. I never thought of that. As a previous post indicted, this place is disinterested in helping the general public and only wants to deal with those in the trade. So I went to Home Depot and saved 40 percent. Matt needs some training in service provision.

Long story short I went to just about every plumping supply shop in Temecula and Murrieta for a project. Every store was either missing a part I needed or couldn't be bothered to provide even the most basic customer service. Express Pipe was different. The gentleman that assisted us was an older gentleman, possibly the owner, and he was amazing. Polite, patient, and extremely helpful. I have his name somewhere and will update the review with it when I find it. Using his knowledge and expertise we were able to simplify our project a bit and he provided us with a complete setup that allowed me to complete our project in one go. This is now my first stop for plumbing projects.

Forget calling and asking a question. Asked about PVC plumbing pipe sizes to telescope he was either clueless or did not care much to give me customer service on the phone. I was going to go there to get the parts but not anymore.

Today was my second trip to this business. The first time I needed a hard-to-find part for an older Kohler toilet. They had it, but it was expensive, but that was expected. Today was very different. One of our bathrooms has a Delta faucet which is about ten years old. One of the stems developed a leak, our two local small hardware stores and Home Depot did not have it, so I decided to drive the 12 miles to Express in Murrieta - it is our closest plumbing supply house. Generally, small replacement stems run $5-10, new seats $1-3. The salesman found the parts and presented me with a bill for $38.55!!!! I told him that it sounded extremely high, but he assured me that prices on everything had been going up and that the specific reason that the stem was so expensive ($29.30) was because the stem portion was brass. I was leery, but not certain, so I bought it. I drove immediately to Hank's Hardware, which is less than a mile away. THE SAME EXACT STEM AND SEATS WAS A TOTAL OF $9.16 INSTEAD OF $38.55! For those of you mathematically inclined, this translates to a difference of over 400%! WOW! (The good thing is that they did take everything back without trying to charge me a re-stocking fee. But not good enough to adjust the one star rating.) Express Pipe and Supply has been deleted from my GPS.

I went in to return some items and the employee went through the tedious process of inputting all the items to verify they were on the receipt. My husband/co-owner had purchased the items with his card and the employee wasn't sure if he needs the physical card or just the number in order to issue me credit. He suggested I come back in a little bit when the lady who would know the answer returns from lunch. I killed some time and then came back to find out how the refund of $150+ would work. To my surprise & frustration, when I returned the employee told me he needed the physical card AND that now my refund would only be $55. He said that approx 3 fittings were unreturnable because they had pipe dope on them and the heavy duty wrench had been used. I explained to him that the wrench had been used for just a moment, because our plumber used his to finish the tightening. Yes the fittings had some pipe dope on them, we were dealing with a difficult angle and these fittings would not work for the angle we were trying to do. My frustration is that I was under the impression that I would receive a full refund for the items I was returninng. If I was not going to get a full refund, then that should have been communicated right up front. It was like I was told to go away/come back later and then did a switcharoo on me and decided they couldn't take back some of the stuff. Thanks Express for wasting a couple of hours and misleading me.

No returns on brand new items purchased the same day!! Stickler manager and super expensive prices, expect to pay double for cheap parts. My plumber says that the selection is better at lowes or home depot. Don't waste your time here, the store is catered to contractors and they could care less about the general public.
