The entire team at Curtis Karate are absolutely amazing! My kids have been going for over a year, and they look forward to classes every single week. All of the Senseis know how to teach kids karate skills while also showing compassion. Both of my kids feel acknowledged for their hard work at the dojo, which makes my mama heart happy. I am impressed with the way Curtis Karate teaches self defense, karate skills, stranger danger along with good sportsmanship and character skills! We LOVE Curtis Karate and would recommend it hands down to anyone interested in trying it out!

My Son has been going to Curtis Karate for over two years now. Sensei Jesse not until teaches Karate but also teaches great character building skills as well as respect and discipline. We love Curtis Karate!

My kids have been coming here for the last 3 years. My oldest has had tremendous progress and personal growth because they hold her accountable for her actions and behavior outside of the dojo. As a military family, we don't always have that same support that other families here and Curtis Karate has become a second family to us. I know I can count on them to be involved in my daughter's life. They call us if we miss to see if we are okay. They absolutely care about all of their kids. When your child is in the dojo, they are their kids. The owner is always there and involved. I don't know how you couldn't love this place. Thank you for everything Curtis Karate!

We love Curtis Karate! My 4 & 5 year old kids love coming here twice a week. They have gained so much confidence. The staff is awesome and the instructors are so great with the kids! Feels like a little family!

My daughter did the character counts program at her school and she was excited. But she was never called on to break a board, never called up for anything. The sensei called on the same few kids everytime. She completed the program and went to the pizza party where we still considered signing up. During the demonstration the sensei still called on the same exact kids from the program. We did all the homework, I wrote letters every week to consider her for the gift card and trophy but he picked the same few kids to recognize and it was predictable who was winning the prize as he had his favorites in mind already. I am happy we didn't waste our money here and they served small portions of cold pizza at the end. Yuck. We will look for a better program where everyone gets a chance to excel.

We were introduced to Curtis Karate at our after school program, from day one my son was more engaged and showed potention. He has tried Soccer, basketball, and flag football but Karate was his thing. Sensei Jesse is amazing at teaching the kids and holding them accountable. After our first free class we were sold! Now my son and my daughter are enrolled and I have seen many positive changes to their attitudes, responsibility, and respect. I am beyond grateful for the impact this Dojo has had on my children that now I am going to lessons and loving every minute of it! All the sensei's are amazing! Will, Sydney, and Kristen thank you all so much!

It's an amazing environment for the kids teaches them self defense, discipline, honor gratitude, leadership the list goes on, my daughter is in purple white belt from the day she started to where she is at now has been a huge accomplishment I'm so lrpud of my daughter and the the whole Karate team (sensais) have really taught NY daughter so much they go above and beyond for every student!!!!

Do NOT sign up with this place payed in full. My boys ended up not liking it due to the overcrowding of kids per class, the name calling (sissy lala) and our schedule also was no longer able to accommodate. I called and talked to the owner who offered to let me cancel with a very high cancellation fee but when I agreed he said he had to call his wife and he would get back to me. When he called me back he said they wouldn't give me a refund for the unused portion of the 3 months we had signed up for even though the kids only went a handful of times in one month and that he would extend my membership through the year. My boys are not comfortable going so how does extending my membership help? Watch out they will keep your money! They claim to teach values and character but their business ethic doesn't reflect this. On a good note, I believe his name was Sensei Will was amazing at getting the boys to go out and participate even though they were extremely hesitant to participate the couple times we did go.

This place has been such a game changer for my son. Sensei Jesse's voice in my ADHD 7 year old's life has been so valuable in helping him harness his energy and help him be more focused in life at school and at home. It helps him do well academically and with behavior. The karate is great and the dojo is fun for the kids to be sure, but the way Sensei Jesse helps the kiddos grow in their character as young men and women is special. Our family loves Curtis Karate.

We love it here! Sensei Jesse is amazing. He is so good with the kids. He is super engaging and makes it so fun but also teaches them awesome karate! The receptionist is also friendly :)

we are so thankful for Curtis karate,because my grandson has some kind of activity to do,also because my grandson loves karate,loves the wrestling, he gets motivated.Also has some great teachers Sensai Jessie and Sensai Kat.isaac has been going to Curtis karate since he was five years old.
