This was a very easy process, I dont feel like i got enough for my trade i, however i am pleased at least that all in all things were very smooth. The staff were all very friendly, put up with my inability to gather the proper title in hand, laughs. They handled everything like a pro, much better than a "dealer". We love our new vehicle ❣️

The sell of my car was smooth & seamless. The staff was very hospitable and courteous. I provided the payoff information and they did the rest. My only complaint is when I called the general number for information on my appraisal and what to do when I brought the car in, I was given incorrect information that upset me. But once I came in I quickly learned that what I was told was untrue

It was fine at first. I walked in Jessica helped me. My appt was at 11am and I got there at 11:15am. Took my information and was told oh there's two people ahead of you it shouldn't take that long. Maybe 30 to 45 min. She told me that after the appraisal was done she'll give me the offer and we go from there. I go and take a look at all the coffee stations and everything is empty. I go and speak with a gentleman up front who was with two others gentleman. I ask him is there another station somewhere because the coffees are empty. He just looks at me and tells me no. If that's it then we don't have anything. So I walked off shocked at the rudeness and unprofessionalism. Sucks I didn't get a name. It's 11:25am by now and you guys open at 11am. There was two small empty coffee containers. So now it's 11:30am I walk outside it's super hot and I call my husband to see where he's at with my young two kids. I see my car getting appraised already. I'm like cool shouldn't be much longer. We'll we go inside and wait. It's 1145am now. We hang out at around 12 sometime my husband ask me to ask what's taking so long. I said it's OK I got here around 1115am it's about 45min so it should be soon. So I hang out with my kids and now it's 1pm. We are hungry and my kids are getting antsy. So I go and ask what's taking so long. I noticed Jessica was helping someone else and has completely forgotten about me. Sonya helped me and she was probably the only saving grace there. She told me that the appraiser was suppose to bring the keys to them so they can give me the offer. But they left it in their office. By the way most of the workers in there are too busy hanging out. Not everyone says hi or wonders why someone has been there for 2 hours now. So I get my offer decide to do it because why not I'm there already. Took me about 30 more min to get my stuff. Wait for the paperwork and then the payoff amount is wrong. So I show them my payoff and Sonya who was awesome got it fixed. Then everything is done. Now it's like 330pm when I finally get to leave. So I didn't have the best experience to say the least.

Excellent experience, big thanks to Richard Komant, excellent help very professional, kind and easy to work with him. Since the beginning till the end of the process, helping with answers, makes everything goes smooth.
Another thing that helps a lot is that we got there and walked checking the cars having the freedom to select without pressure

I originally left a 5 star review on Yelp. The buying process was easy and seamless. But within a week the automatic folding side mirror stopped working. I’ve tried calling the service center 3x in the last week. They never answer their phone and I’ve left 3 voicemails and nobody has called me back. The 90-day warranty is useless because they just ignore you and don’t respond to messages. They were all over it and answering/responding when I wanted to buy the car, but now that I need something fixed - nowhere to be found.

Couldn't be any easier to buy a vehicle. I have purchased two vehicles from CarMax now and neither one took more than a couple hours at the store from the time I walked in to driving away in my new ride. Both were transferred from other stores for free and done quickly.
I downloaded the app and was scouting vehicles for a week, the one I really wanted was at another store in Ontario and they had it transferred to Murrieta within 24 hours. No deceptive pictures and if there is a scratch or a scuff anywhere it will be noted.
Everyone there is very helpful. My salesman, Sam, went right to work with me and had my truck brought out so I could look it over and go through every inch of it. Gave me the keys and had me take it for a drive which I did for about 20 minutes. Got back to the store and started paperwork.
I love there is no haggling or negotiating. There is no four-square finance sheet where you get tricked into "how much do you want to spend per month" or playing with interest rates. The price is the price. No up-selling. No selling Scotchguard on the seats or underbody rust protection. If you want to add an extended warranty, go for it. If not, no sweat. You can compare the CarMax price to Kelly BB and it's right in line.
I don't think I would ever go to a dealership again. It's just too easy at CarMax to find exactly what you want and purchase it. My son is looking to buy soon too. I brought him along with me for my truck purchase and he was blown away at how fast and simple it was and he will be buying from CarMax when he is ready.

Went to get my car appraisal done to sell it and after 2 hours they appraised the wrong car and after "correction" it still was not the right information. Also after looking at dash cam video they never even looked at the car so not sure what they did for 2 hours other than waste my time.
