I had two recent positive experiences at Cal Oaks repair. Recently my spark plugs were replaced on an older Audi that had some lag upon acceleration. They diagnosed the issue well and the car is running perfectly with over 125,000 miles. The service on a Saturday was also prompt and courteous.

I'm giving stars for the woman at the front desk. She's absolutely the best. So professional and keeps in contact with you through the process but on the other hand I was quoted 250 dollars more here on my brakes and rotors than another shop and I felt like thats a huge difference almost to the point where their prices are definitely taking advantage of people. Just make sure you shop around.

I brought my car in for a smog check. Although it's more expensive than the place I usually go to in Temecula, it's a few minutes from my house, vs 20 minutes for the other place. I thought it would be faster and more convenient. After they smogged my car, they locked my keys in the car. I waited for about 15 minutes while the mechanic tried to get the door open with a metal rod he pushed through the crack in the window. He offered to drive me home to get my spare key, but it was faster to ask my wife to drive it over. That took another 15 minutes. So much for convenience. It would have been cheaper, taken the same amount of time, and be less aggravating to go to the other place.
