nice, clean, updated recreation facility that has multi-use day & night, all year round. inside the building, there is an indoor basketball court that can double as a dance floor/multi-purpose room. there are also separate classrooms to be used for teaching dance, strength classes, etc. there are separate men's & women's restrooms and locker rooms. outside, there is a softball field, basketball court, and track & field stadium, all fitted with lights, so activities can continue after sunset. the track & field stadium has bleachers on one side, with a multi-use field for football, soccer, bootcamp and other activities. the track is perfect for runners and walkers alike. there is a restroom structure and water fountain at the front entrance of the stadium. for parking, there is dedicated lot parking right outside the main building extending all the way down to the softball field. you may also park along middlefield road on the weekends (most hours mon-fri, you may not park along middlefield, lest you wish to be towed). side streets are usually available for parking, just check the signs before you do so! conveniently located near 101 & shoreline, and a short drive from downtown mountain view.

It's a middle school gym so the floor is frequently dusty. But the hardwood is nice

Whitman sports center is top notch. The raised wood floors are wonderful for general exercise.
