My dentist gave my son a painkiller prescription due to my son's emergency visit at 10PM. The pharmacy is 24 hours operating but the lady refused to take my dentist's prescription at 12AM when I handed them the prescription. She insisted the prescription needed to be faxed to the pharmacy. I called my dentist immediately and he wanted to talk to the pharmacy lady directly but she refused to talk to him. So I couldn't get the prescription when I was in emergency situation.

"ATTENTION STAY AWAY". Went to pick up a prescription for my wife of Clindamycin LOTION. She was using the GEL vision but the doctor switched it. We have been getting various texts and calls and emails about the lotion being ready for pickup. To the point they gave us a 5 day pick-up time before they put it back on the shelve. The women who was at the front of the pharmacy the same one who rang me up with the posted receipt told me nothing is ready for pickup. So I explained the the notifications and showed her my wife's mychart showing the the medicine is ready at this "PHARMACY". She just was silent and said we can have it ready in 20-30 minutes. I am confused at this point because they were spamming us this whole time during the holidays to get there and have to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the pharmacist tosses the lotion on the counter. The girl rings me up and then proceeded to tell me if I had listed to her in the beginning they would have not had made me wait so long. So I confirmed with her that it is the lotion not the gel just for reconfirmation. She said yes it is like I told you. I even go on GoodRX and show her the picture of the lotion to make sure. I get home after work and sure enough my wife gets another text saying her prescription is ready. So I opened the bag and it's a refill of the Clindamycin Gel not the lotion. So the rude and condescending of the cashier and pharmacist turns out they both were wrong! CONGRATULATIONS! People in these positions need to have a better attention to detail because although this case was not extreme older folks who rely on these people couldBe overdosed or given the wrong medicine.

Unfortunate. But they are liars & incompetent. In the short time I've been a client they have messed up two prescriptions for me. Even worse they've tried to gas light me both times. When they show me the "proof" a page they have printed out to show me - I simply read the page and show them they are wrong in what they are telling me. By the way this is the pharmacist I'm talking about not even the assistant.First time the didn't fill my migraine medicine and called my doctor for a different medication. Then told me my insurance doesn't cover my medicine. When I said I filled it last month at my old pharmacy the pharmacist said that formularies change "all the time". Then printed a page to show me it was denied. I read the page and showed her it said the only nine pills (not 10) are covered and to run it through for 9 pills. And it went through. I then had to clean up my medical records and ask my doctor to delete the new medication I never asked for but was mistakenly asked for by the pharmacy.Second time was today. I was notified that my prescription was ready. I called and spoke to the pharmacy to see what my copay would be and was told the amount. When I show up they are unable to use the manufacturer discount card for this medicine, which is commonly used for this particularly expensive medicine. They then say I need to call the manufacturer. They then say I need to sit and wait for the pharmacist who never calls me. The pharmacist then says they don't have the prescription in stock even though the automated system said they filled it and the pharmacy verified it was ready by phone. The pharmacist then said to come back tomorrow when the manager is in. I'm really considering filing a complaint against the pharmacist's license with the licensing board. Competence and the willingness to read seems like a basic skill for the job. Plus there's never an excuse for fibbing.

Okay, im seeing some bad reviews and it kinda makes me upset, Today i got to walgreens @ 9:18there was a huge line about 9-12 people. i had work at 10am in San Jose, so about 20-30 minute drive. I waited from 9:18 to 9:32 there was 3 people left in line ( other workers started helping the register to make the line die down) at 9:32 i went to the pharmacist window and explained that i needed my medication before i went to work and if she could ring me up since its already filled, she said no problem and rang me up! very good customer service, if you don't have patience or like waiting in a line, then maybe this place isn't for you, they always have my prescriptions ready and they do not give me any hassle at all. thank you walgreens! the only thing i do agree is maybe have two workers working the checkouts, other then that, its really good.and the line isnt a long wait, it can be about 15 minutes, depending how many people! thanks again guys for helping me today!

This pharmacy is just IMPOSSIBLE! The staff seem to deliberately try to waste your time! Have been here multiple times unfortunately and had to wait more than an hour each time, to pick up a prescription which was ready according to their texts! There aren’t many pharmacy options in the neighborhood and they might know that already! I’m not sure if anyone would even care about these feedbacks and actually try to make a difference.

If I could give it 0, I would. Absolutely horrendous customer service at the pharmacy and in the store. The estimated wait time for prescription medicine was 20 min, however it became at least 90 minutes. This was during the morning time with not many people! The register girl at the pharmacy was completely clueless in how to ring up medication. The other people there were just as frustrated with the outstanding long wait.

severely understaffed pharmacy. Prepare to spend at least 45 mins if you come during the weekend since this is the only 24 hour pharmacy in south bay if you don’t want to travel all the way to East or South San Jose.

Terrible long line for pharmacy at around 6pm. And the line moves so slowly because only one staff is there and it takes forever for each person. Will never come here again.

The level of customer service received by the night pharmacist on the phone was truly insincere. As many women may know that some contraceptive pills with the same active ingredient is essential "the same" but everyone experiences a wide range of side effects based on the brand or generic version they use. I would have expected the pharmacist to be more empathetic in her approach and way of delivering her message that the pills "were all basically the SAME THING". I remained calm and didn't try to justify myself but still tried to request the brand I continued to use for the past year. She sounded so agitated that I dared to ask for the same generic brand of pills to stay consistent. Besides that experience, visiting Walgreens has been increasingly inconvenient and frustrating. They don't train their staff to be kind and helpful. The pharmacists here and in Sunnyvale appear extremely unhappy/bad at providing a decent customer service experience to people who bring business to Walgreens.

This is my favorite Walgreens location in the Bay Area. They have a really great staff that will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your time here. I recently came out to pick up some folders and a stapler and Gregory was working. Gregory was super friendly and knowledgeable and he even helped me sign up for Walgreens Rewards and I ended up saving nearly $3.00 on my purchase during this visit alone!

The wait times have gotten longer. And the prescription is never ready when you go to the window. This store should be closed.Wall greens management needs to seriously look into what’s going on because you guys are not performing at all .

Had a vaccination appointment. At first, I was surprised by two contradictory signs at the vaccination window. But that was nothing compared to a wait time of over an hour (1:10h to be exact) for a vaccination. Most inefficient pharmacy ever!

On 9/21/23, graveyard shift cashier Gregory ridiculed me for not donating $1 to whatever charity is featured. He continued to ridicule me throughout the transaction. He shouldn't be in customer service.

Clearly this store does not care about their poor reviews but adding another 1-star review to further caution anyone reading from going here. If you need a 24-hr pharmacy, it’s better to just drive further to the San Carlos Walgreens as it will end up taking less time and you’ll get less attitude from the staff. The sanity is worth the extra effort of going elsewhere. The workers truly resemble the sloth from Zootopia.
