Knowledgeable, highly communicative, and will definitely help you get the best deal on upgrading your home theater system.He was patient with me with all of my questions about what sound bar to pair with what TV. He sent me a handful of recommendations and gave me time to look them over and get back to me.I ordered from him and ended up changing my order twice, and he handling everything swiftly and professionally.Great employee and great store. I will be buying from them again if I ever need another TV and I highly recommend going here for your new setup!

Doug Pauley...is the man. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Came in needing a new 83in TV. Doug explained all the various brands and the Pros/Cons between Samsung, LG, Sony. Offered up some amazing prices and warranties as well. Ended up getting the LG 83in QLED TV + Sound Bar, etc. Used to go to Best Buy but, definitely coming here in the future for all my TV needs for sure. Pretty legit place. Thank you.

Called around & shopped around Best Buys, Costco, various other TV retailersSpoke to both Fred Video Only store mgr & Michael salesmanI explained to both them my hate, despise of tech & PTSD...They promised & sold me an LG 65Nanocell & were adamant how easy this model was to set up & operate...& it's by far the biggest POS investment ever...Even with a strong WiFi signalmost applications either take for ever to load, stream, or processPicture quality is good when workingSound is hit or miss it's very spottyLG self diagnose says sound is working it doesn't half the timeafter many inquiries with both Fred & Michael I'm still stuck with this POS TV ....a full refund or an equivalent new TVin exchange would be exceptable..I would not recommend or refer customers to Video Only & definitely avoid both Fred & Michael...There has not been any response or reply or from either Fred or Michael on a fix, repair, exchange or refund for the same model or equivalent.There's absolutely NO customer service after the sale... AVOID Video Only !!!!!

The video store had an amazing setup for comparing sizes, brands and technologies which helped me narrow down to the exact TV I wanted.I liked how they have comparable models lined up next to each other, so you know what you're paying extra for.The sales professional, Fred was very helpful and patient in letting me go through all the options and was quite knowledgeable about the options present as well. I would definitely recommend this place

Went in on a whim to check out TVs. I had been researching a few OLEDs that I wanted, and had been online and at Best Buy at this point. Upon entering, I was greeted by Fred who did a great job showing me all the OLEDs in the size range that I wanted. He went through Sony vs LG vs Samsung for me. I asked what TV he had at home and he was honest with what he had AND with what he'd buy now if he had the choice in the size I wanted, with reasoning for why. The biggest positive here, was they had a deal going for the Samsung s90c OLED in 55" where you can get $300 off if you turn in your old TV. I knew the prices of TVs in the size I wanted going in and was shocked. I bought it on the spot. Even after getting home and doing a quick online comparison, everywhere was listed $300 more than I paid! Would definitely recommend coming in here! The deals change all the time, but the service, I am sure, remains consistent. Fred said he's been in the business of selling TVs for 40 years, so he was a wealth of knowledge! He even showed me some really awesome sound bars, with a demonstration, so I may go back for one of those soon. 5 out of 5 stars - Stellar service, unbeatable price and happy customer!

Video only is a store that specializes (you guessed it) in video related stuff. It’s 2023 so basically TV’s my dude.Anyway the only mountain view is located right next to costco and their prices are usually $50-$150 cheaper than Costco. The obvious difference is Costco’s warranty, so if you don’t want the 3 year warranty then Video Only store is for you!Always ask for help here as their display prices might not be reflected properly as they fluctuate.The sales associates are fantastic people and easy to talk with so definitely check them out!

This is definitely an old school type of electronic store. I have bought speakers, stereo receivers, sound bars and HD Television sets. They always have good prices usually better than their main competitors. It has been my go to electronic store for most of my larger ticket purchases. It has been worth the drive to Mountain View from Los Gatos. My only negative I think is worth sharing is the experience I have with exchanging a TV. I will admit I have exchanged TVs that I was not happy with more than one time. I feel like I have experienced some friction from the salesperson when I have done so. I feel like they were taking it personally I was returning it and causing them an inconvenience. Most competitors there is usually no questions asked. Probably because at bigger retail chains you are not going to be dealing with the same person you made the purchase with when you return the item. I understand they can't sell an open box item for as much as an unopened box but if I am not happy with a product I refuse to feel guilty about returning it. This will definitely be a consideration for making future purchases. All in all I recommend Video Only. Also they always have in stock what I want.

Hats off to Doug and a big thank-you for your help with my recent TV purchase and delivery. What a great customer service experience from start to finish. My last TV was a cheapie smart TV that we won at a raffle and one day after acting up for several months, it finally had the backlight burn out and we had full black screen. It lasted 4 years though, so not too bad. So where to buy a new replacement? I keep hearing the Video Only commercials on the radio, so I checked prices against Best Buy, Target, and Costco. The Video Only prices at first glance definitely seemed worth a look. I walked in the store mid-day on my lunch break and was greeted by Doug. I'm not super technical on TV's, but I am on other types of audio gear and had done a few hours of research and was leaning towards something from LG or Sony. The Mt View showroom is a manageable medium size with a decent, yet not overwhelming, selection. Man, Doug knows his stuff! It turns out he's the store manager. What a professional and with zero ego. He asked me what was important to me. When I explained that I'm not a gamer and watch movies only once a month, and the rest is a mix of cable TV, sports, and Youtube, he steered me to 3 options. One of them was on my list already. As we talked in a comfortable conversational way, he told me a few key features and put on some live sports (US Open Tennis) so I could watch the picture clarity during sports movement. I asked several specific tech questions and he explained in detail, comparing LG, Samsung and Sony for each item, never missing a beat. At my request, he then left me on my own for 10 minutes so I could look and compare. When it came time for selecting a purchase, there were no hard selling tactics. Doug knocked a bit off of the posted price that was already discounted and I was a happy camper. Overall, it was a very efficient process and it only took about 30 minutes from the time I walked in the door. A few days later I regrettably decided I had selected the wrong size and did something most people probably would not do - I requested an exchange for a smaller TV of the same model, going from a 65" to a 55". I made this request in person with Doug the next week. No problem - Done. I was out in 5 minutes. The delivery swap was scheduled for 5 days later and the 2 delivery guys were great - on time, efficient, friendly. I'm impressed and a bit surprised that the TV size exchange went off without issue. Doug and the delivery guys treated me like a VIP. That kind of customer service is extremely rare today and I'm very appreciative. You guys rock.

We did some internet shopping for a new TV with Best Buy, Costco and Video only. The prices at Video Only seemed very competitive so we took the drive to the Mountain View store. We were met by the store manager. Doug. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very patiently guided us through the the different TV choices. We got an excellent price on the TV we selected. The icing on the cake was the ability to turn in the old TV. Highly recommended.

They are very helpful here. We did not feel like they were trying to upset us anything. We gave them what featyres we cared about, and they pointed us to the area of the store where we could find TVs with those feaures.The store is set up with several brands and features together, so it's easy to compare sets.
