Great experience so far! Friendly and fast check-in and really nice room! Beds are pretty comfy, space is large, entry area has some nice shelves with cool lighting. There's a mini fridge and a safe and complimentary coffee stuff all ready to go.
We went downstairs after getting settled in and enjoyed some yard games, fire pits, and a couple drinks at the bar...that was a fun way to kick off our 10 year anniversary weekend!

Heat does not work in the room. Light in bathroom goes off while you are in.

Room was spacious & bright. I also loved the shower space & the amazing towels; so soft.
The beds were a bit different there was a fitted sheet over the mattress and then only a duvet. I usually prefer sleeping under a sheet & not using hotel comforters/ duvets. But the mattresses were extremely comfy.
The only negative was the carpet had some stains on it so I decided to wear my sandals at all times when I was in my room.

Not sure why all the high amenity ratings. This place does not have complimentary coffee. You have to wait a in a huge line at 8:00AM to purchase coffee. I’ve never experienced this before, wild! Seriously ruined my stay.

Great location close to Stanford and Santa Clara university. Our room view wasn’t the best as we were looking out to a roof and condensing unit for the AC we believe. Staff wasn’t very helpful with our concerns with the room …….. aside from that negative it is a great hotel for family and kids as the ground floor has amenities to keep kids busy along with a pool.
Rooms: Our room wasn’t great our view was an air condensing unit or at least I think it was.
Walkability: Not really a walkable location outside of the hotel inside the perimeter of the hotel is decently designed for kids and family !

This was by far the best hotel in the Bay Area that I have ever stayed at [and I have stayed at many different hotels]. The hotel was very clean and all areas were amazing quality - rooms, lobby, restaurant [great food and atmosphere], gym, pool, etc. They even had refillable water bottles and a water station on each floor of the hotel. The hotel staff were very kind, efficient, and were able to help quickly with any questions I had / things I needed. I plan to stay here for all future Bay Area trips I have. Thank you Ameswell team for making my experience so wonderful! :)

We booked a hotel block at The Ameswell for us and our wedding guests and it was perfect. It was under 10 minutes from our wedding venue. The hotel staff, especially Alvin were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had great amenities to keep our guests entertained: coffee kiosk, bar, restraunt, outdoor terrace, swimming pool. Plus lots of indoor seating that what great as our friends and family was slowly coming in and having a chance to mingle. The rooms were also great, they felt very luxurious. Over all amazing hotel.

The hotel is great. I had such an enjoyable and relaxing stay. My room was spacious, quiet, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The pool area was great to lounge in as well.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the dining at the hotel. Everything I had was delectable and reasonably priced. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. I would definitely return to dine and/or stay here.

Stayed here for a few days during a work trip. Room was spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you could need. Good air conditioning and nice toiletries supplied. Loved the water bottles and opportunity to refill. I didn't get a chance to try the food or any of the other facilities but will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the area!
