I brought my car in for regular maintenance as I've been doing since I've owned cars. It used to be BTN but ownership changed to Silicon Valley Performance (on Leghorn in Mountain View) and the last of the previous staff is now gone they said except for one guy who is the new owner. The paperwork to sign had a cost increase on the top page from $79 to now about $125 - fine. I didn't pay much attention because I'd trust these guys with my first born. Turns out that was just for replacing windshield wipers! They wanted to charge me about $360 for an oil change and wipers. Earlier I received a call that the car was done and everything was good. Then I get another call...there's much wrong with the car. My tires are worn and there's a nail in it so I need four new tires because the law says tires over 5 years can't have a nail repair done. (My tires are not 5 years old, are in perfect shape except for the metal fence tie that was now in my tire. And there's no such law.) He also said my battery failed and sent me a diagram of a failed test instead of a photo of the failure and said it needed to be replaced. My battery is new-ish, fine, and right on top of it shows it's still under warranty. The crew there always used to go over my cars meticulously such as cleaning the battery connection. That wasn't done. My new windshield wipers are great. And I got my tire fixed elsewhere.

I had a great experience working with the friendly staff here. I needed a quick tire rotation and inflation adjustment. They were able to fit me in their schedule with a 5 min heads up, charged a reasonable price and overall did a great job.I will be back for future service needs.

This is the spot to choose! I want to really, really recommend these guys because the level of care they put into an incredibly tough job was amazing and reflective of their excellent overall service. I wanted to get heated windshield wipers put on our Toyota Sienna and originally thought it was something I could easily do myself. However, after doing some research and seeing it on YouTube it was pretty obvious how wrong I was! Lots of wiring and more! I called around to dealerships and other places too, but every one of them told me that they hadn't really heard of it being done after factory and couldn't help. I kept trying and then called Silicon Factory Performance, after seeing their great ratings online and also getting a really good vibe from their website, and they enthusiastically agreed to help and I could not be more THRILLED with the completed work. Get some heated windshield wipers (I used www.everblades.com) and bring them in here and they will do such an outstanding job!!! Going to also start using them for future issues and appointments as well, because above all their customer service was exemplary in each and every way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I needed a hitch installed on my car quickly and SV performance got me in right away when other shops turned me down or were booked far out.They were very transparent, upfront and reasonable with the bid on the job. I was able to review and approve the bid before I took my car in. They were very prompt and professional. I had all my kids with me when i dropped the car off and picked it up and they were kind and accommodating and offered snacks and water to my kids. I would go here again.

Only downside was “NO CARWASH”Never used these guys before, I sent my “06”Sienna here because it was overheating. They did a full inspection on my vehicle and came back with a report that matched everything I knew had to be done to the vehicle already motor mounts, strut mounts and of course they fixed the overheating as well as replacing my air intake components and the heating imbalance. Pricing is fair considering that you get a three year warranty on the work and they are a NAPA garage so the warranty is covered nation wide. So I guess it is true you get what you pay for because I haven’t had a warranty like that before. Bob kept me up to date about my vehicle and they even found areas where work overlapped so I was not overcharged. My vehicle drives as if it were brand new and I will continue to use this shop for my vehicles needs.Thanks fellas!Services: Carburetor cleaning

I was searching for an auto shop to install aftermarket sequential Tailights that I purchased from Amazon , product from China. I filled out the online quote form & e signed it was was so simple fast and easy. Got fit into an appointment the next morning. Job was done in under 4 hrs. Walkable area has Taco Bell and Starbucks nearby. They did an impeccable job! They performed a vehicle inspection free. No pressure for other services and all I did was pay for service which was under the $200 budget I set. Even though they are far from me I will definitely be my go to for future automotive installs , services etc.Services: Vehicle Inspection
