This is a fabulous little store. Always well stocked, super nice (and helpful!) employees, and they jump to open more registers when shoppers start to pile up. BUT - and this is the "but" that keeps me OUT of the store and the reason I've stopped shopping here forever as of last week: it's COLD! Not talking 60 degrees cold. Not even 50 degrees cold. SO cold that a week ago - when it was 35 degrees outside - it was noticeably colder in the store. Brrr! Freezing to death does not enhance the ambiance or my shopping experience. And a lot of seniors shop here because the nearest alternative is too far to walk, but seniors are especially vulnerable to cold. We simple cannot regulate our body temperature as well as we could when we were young. I'd rather skip a few meals so I can afford to pay extra for delivery than try to shop when it's so cold that I can't feel my fingers. Otherwise - it really IS a sweet little store. But too cold for me! They've made it clear that seniors are not a priority.

A little bit on the smaller side, it felt like they didn't have as many selections as my typical go-to Safeway. I was still, for the most part, able to find everything I needed. They don't have self-checkout at this location, which would have been nice as I only had a few items and could have checked myself out faster than waiting in line.

Deli workers don't change gloves while working with raw and cooked ready to serve food. Common at many Safeway stores.
