I have been living in this apartment for about three years since 2021. I have had one of the greatest experiences in this apartment. I genuinely have no complaints about this apartment.The service provided by the staff has consistently been excellent, with fast and warm responses to any inquiries or issues that may have occurred. Not to mention the great amenities and a fantastic clubhouse, which make calling this place home even more delightful.This apartment is located in a great location near to two parks, Mountain view library, down town, which makes it great for an evening walk. It is an amazing place to have fun without spending time for commute. Additionally, the convenience of having a Starbucks nearby is a delightful bonus.At the end I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their support and for creating such a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Me and and my husband stayed here for a year. Our experience was very bad. Our apartment was on the second floor and there was constant noise from the floor above of people walking. Which we had become used to but to add on to this there was this new neighbour who shifted below us complained that we were making noises at the middle of night instead of sleeping. The office instead of looking into it or asking us just sent us warning mails of noises. Pathetic people working at the office. Also they deducted the complete $500 security deposits towards carpet cleaning and wall painting but we left the apartment good as new with no stain. We didn’t even drill anywhere in the house. Very bad experience staying at this property

A few large and small construction projects ongoing every year or two that last a few months or a few weeks each. The constructions constantly begin before the community promised time which is 9am and property management constantly push back such complains (as well as other maintenance or noise complains), such as lie about it like blaming the city, until people escalate it on internal resident portal or external reviews. It’s interesting that now they just directly announce the construction time starts at 8am every day. I don’t get it that the workers finish their work every early at 1pm or 2pm every day, so why you don’t bother to maintain your promise to ask them start it after 9am? The loud noise wakes people up and disturb their schedule. Every time the construction is very chaotic and cause nuisances as it’s not getting enough supervision . For instance, last Friday the fire alarms was off for very long time because the power wash by the construction workers spin water on a fire alarm, and it happened again in just an hour. The whole building people had to came out twice and brought their pets.

The good things about the Parkplace Apartment is the lease renew time, the rent increase based on city of Mountain View rent control guidelines and offering you monthly rent options. the move out procedure is simple and some charges like painting based on how long you stay with depreciation and fair.The management team are good and helpful. We stay here for five years, we enjoyed here very much!

My wife and I absolutely love it here! We've checked out all the options in Mountain View and decided to settle down here, and we are very picky. The neighbors are fantastic, and it's super peaceful and calm, being just 5 minute from the downtown. The value is awesome too, as it's more affordable than newer buildings, yet our apartment has been fully renovated and feels brand new. Not sure about neighbor noise since we're on the 3rd floor.The management company is top-notch too. Sherese showed us around at least 10 apartments and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Bryan has been a great help with all our maintenance questions. We're happy with our decision to stay here!

We lived at Park Place for two years and really loved it. We lived in the north complex and our apartment was updated and modern (and pet-friendly, too!). Lots of families and pets live here. The location is wonderful - right across the street from two big, green parks, and a few minutes walk to all the restaurants and shops on Castro Street. Having access to two gyms - one of which is open 24/7 - was awesome. The pool was never crowded and always clean! We submitted a number of maintenance requests while we lived there, and John and the rest of the maintenance team are truly rockstars: extremely prompt, very attentive, and so friendly.Our only quibbles include some issues with mail delivery/theft, and being assessed a cleaning fee during move-out that was a bit unreasonable given how clean we left the place.

This is not worth the price. All amenities are old and closed most of the time if not crowded when available.Package loss is a major thing in these apartments.Last but not least, good luck with getting your deposit back when you leave. They will repair the apartment with your money

5 stars for Park Place and the amazing staff! When we booked our first apartment online, we picked the wrong one for us. To be clear, everything was clean and as advertised. We chose it. It was just not the one for us.Thus, we moved in on Memorial Day. Thanks to Park Place office and team - going the extra mile for us and making a smooth move-in happen. When we were approaching the nice ladies at the office the next day regarding a different apartment, they were so accommodating and quick to resolve all our issues. We were able to move into our current apartment the same day - and we totally love it! As does our small dog. Thank you, Park Place team, for supporting us and being so flexible and accommodating.

My partner and I have been living in Park Place South for over 2 years now, and we definitely enjoyed staying here. The apartment management team is very considerate and responsive, and I appreciate their efforts. The location of PP is fantastic. It’s so close to downtown Mountain View with easy access to restaurants and a beautiful park. The apartment itself is beautiful and lively. I noticed some reviews complaining about noise but personally I haven’t had any major issues. It’s possibly due to we live in an inward-facing unit on the top floor. Overall I’d recommend PP to anyone who’s looking for a good apartment.

Do not move here. Trash pickup noise starts at 4:30 AM, incl. Saturdays and major holidays, and takes up to 4 hrs with several city contractors involved. It feels like living on a junkyard. The city is tone deaf to our complaints. Add to that the fire alarms, annoying (protected!) courtyard pigeons, and neighborhood dogs, and you won't get any sleep (in fairness, this applies to most downtown communities, not just this one).

We have lived here for over 6 years now and absolutely LOVE it. The property is very well situated in downtown Mountain View, within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, parks, the library, the MVCPA, and Caltrain. What else does one need! But more than that I would say the staff is the BEST, and one of the biggest reasons we just cannot get ourselves to live anywhere else. We recently moved into another newly renovated apartment here and it's beautiful. Everything is extremely well designed.The leasing office - Nichole, Brian, Michelle and Athena personify hospitality, they always greet you with a smile, are ready to help anyway they can, and are quick to respond to emails and messages. The maintenance team here is one of the best. Not being much of a handyman, they have come to our rescue several times. Especially Peter, and John who have helped us many a times. Whether it was checking to make sure the TV bracket was screwed on strongly, so our TV didn't fall, or ensuring the refrigerator was fixed quickly, or replacing a broken towel rod - they are A small thing but I appreciate it very much is how the maintenance guys always wear cloth booties over their shoes before stepping into the house.
