The Navy Lodge Moffett is a must stay location in the Bay Area! From the General Manager, Marcy, to the Front Desk staff, Christina and Jimmy, it truly a first class crew. Marcy can be seen early in the morning and late into the evening making sure the lodge is comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. She always has a smile and is a super manager, friendly and kind to the staff. We stayed for two weeks and met a number of the staff members. All happy to be here. It translates to pride in their professions. The property is incredibly clean and tidy! In my decades staying in various Navy Lodges, this lodge is my top recommendation. The cleaning staff are meticulous and helpful. Elke tended to our room and she was very professional, kind, and took pride in her cleaning services. I also want to thank Jeffrey for making my day with a smile and assistance in opening doors when I had my hands full. Thank you for making my stay in the Bay Area feel like home.

Cheap rates and hard beds. I stay there because it's always under the per diem rate.

Wonderful relaxing place to go to. Didn't really like the breakfast but on the other hand most Navy Lodge does not do any breakfasts

Best value in Silicon Valley if you have a military ID card! Exceptional staff!!! Very clean, quiet, mini-kitchens with fridge, microwave, burner, cups, dishes and coffee pot. Commissary on base for groceries.

Hotel staff are responsive to your needs - they allowed late checkout to 1300 when I desperately needed it. Rooms have kitchenettes and are clean and spacious for the price. Located 1.5mi from Castro St, a long block of dining options for all cravings. For runners: there's access to Moffett Trail and Stevens Creek a half mile or so up Moffet Blvd from the lodge!

They are the most wonderful people we ever met since we moved here to California. We are staying here while waiting for our housing to become available and they make us feel so much at home and even beyond. Everything is always clean the staff is wonderful and the manager always goes above and beyond wonderful. They were always so nice to our son especially made extra special day for our son on his birthday during our stay. Thank you so much Mrs. Marci and all the staff for the wonderful stay.

For a long term stay this was the perfect spot. There is ample amounts of storage in the room. The kitchenette comes with a full fridge and is stocked with the essentials (toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans, silverware, etc.). A continental breakfast is provided. There is an outdoor patio with a grill and seating area.Everyone I encountered was welcoming, helpful and respectful. The manager Marcelina made staying here feel like home. Housekeeping is meticulous and accommodating. Matthew keeps the grounds looking beautiful.A safe and comfortable place to stay with downtown Mountain View close by and San Jose/Palo Alto a quick ride away.

Incorrectly charged for a reservation that was cancelled in accordance with the Navy Lodge policy. I have the cancellation # and email but I still haven't received a refund...

Incorrectly charged for a reservation that was cancelled in accordance with the Navy Lodge policy. I have the cancellation # and email, yet I've been told multiple times by the front desk and DoD reservation center that somehow I didn't actually cancel. The manager and supervisor have been reluctant and slow to resolve this issue and I'm still unsure if I'll receive a refund.

Terrible, at all levels: the facility, the facility manager, their chain of command at NEXCOM (promised a refund coupon then failed to deliver). When the supervisory chain is unresponsive to concerns and their deficient behavior matches that of the facility, then "new management" is in order. Active and retired military personnel deserve much, much better.

Visited family in SF but didn't want to deal with SF hotels, jacked-up prices, lack of parking, and people breaking into our vehicle. Rates are reasonable. We got two queen beds with kitchen (full size fridge, microwave, stovetop) and bathroom. Room has decent flatscreen with Netflix app that logs off when you turn off the tv. Free wifi. Free breakfast included with waffles, OJ, coffee, fruits, yogurt, bagels, and cereal. There is a laundry room with vending machines. The Lodge itself is across the street from NASA AMES Research Center (previously NAS Moffett Field) and there's a commisary on base. As long as you are active, retired, or have base access you will be able to enter the base. The commissary looks like an old building but it's fully furnished with all the amenities that DECA offers.
