Mountain View Surplus is a family owned business providing outdoor and camping equipment, military gear, uniforms, and unique collectible items. It is a cool place filled with things you won’t find anywhere else. The selection can be a little thinner than years ago, but there is still plenty to look at, including fatigues, hats, parachutes, and flashlights. The shop carries quality merchandise at an affordable price, with helpful service. The environment is mid, but the random military accessories make up for it. If you love surplus stores, you won't be disappointed. They also offer discounts and support charity programs.
Very cool place. I've been in a handful of times, and the stock does change, but it may take a few months between rotations. If you like surplus uniforms, MREs, camping gear, etc, I'd recommend stopping by to see what's on hand. The owners are also very welcoming and make checking out simple and easy.
