Lang was very unhelpful as her and Betty toldMe my prescription needed before surgery was NOT there and it was over the counter. After speaking with the Doctors this was NOT true and they were very disappointed and suggest I do not use CVS. They are rude and confused. Bad combo.

Getting prescriptions filled and refilled in always a struggle. I think the problems are caused by the corporation cutting headcount and the terrible automated system. The pharmacists are nice, but overworked. This week, I had my doctor fax a refill request. I then got an automated call saying they were searching for a substitute because my prescription wasn't covered by insurance, which I knew. I called the pharmacy. Said I'd pay for it. But the pharmacy called my doctor asking her to lobby the insurer to pay for it. The automated system frequently calls to ask me if I want refills on things I don't need. They called me every month wanting to refill something that lasts a year! My husband's monthly prescription is ALWAYS late. He gets automated calls saying it's ready, but when he gets to the pharmacy, they say they're out. One day he actually got the medicine on time, and -- WHILE HE WAS PICKING IT UP -- I got an automated phone call saying the medicine was backlogged and was not available. Another time, after being told two months in a row they were out of supplies he needed, he actually saw them on the shelf behind the pharmacist! This is what we can expect when big corporations are in charge of our medicines.

I am so done with this CVS. Every single prescription is a hassle. They almost never have what I need in stock and rather than being available the next day as they promise, it takes a week, and I have to call again to find out what's going on. When calling (because prescriptions never seem to just get filled) my average hold time (before speaking with a pharmicist) is 45 minutes, and often after reaching a pharmicist I get put on hold again for an interminable duration. I'm trying to move everything to Alto (an app-based pharmacy which delivers), but CVS is even making that hard by screwing up the prescription transfers.

This pharmacy can't get their stuff together!! Meds never ready, don't call doc if approval needed, have no clue about insurance. It's beyond frustrating. Been coming here for over 20 years but now it's just NOT WORTH THE TIME. Go to El Monte. 100% better!

Not great. I've used this location many times over the years and have noticed a sad trend in worsening customer service. Many times the staff here is downright rude for no apparent reason. I thought it was bad before (like a few years ago) but it is sooo much worse now. Not sure what management is doing, but the employees are clearly miserable, which translates into bad customer service. Thankfully, I don't use their pharmacy, but have heard how much worse it is on that side, yikes. The CVS on El Monte is marginally better, but really - the corporate culture of this company overall is truly awful. Boo, CVS!

Sorry been coming here for years due to convenience close to my house but tonight was 3rd strike. I loaded my cvs card with coupons and then the clerk (I'm sorry but she seemed very very tired) rang me up without asking for my phone number and then when I told her I had discounts on my card she couldn't cancel out my transaction to start again. She even handed me the scanner device since apparently the scanner device wasn't reading the bar code on my receipt and then she said she couldn't do anything about it. Well I had already waited over 10 minutes for a clerk to appear and rang the bell once (the girl behind me rang it again). But come on? You don't even ask for my card at all? And then You can't do a return so I can get my discounts? What's the point of discounts then? Very poor poor customer service tonight and I hope it's not reflective of things to come or you're losing a very long time customer. No stars! CVS medication ready calls should coordinate with what you get in real life. Got recorded reminder that medication ready but got to store and it wasn't. What's the point of the reminder?

Normally I don't love cvs but was very impressed with the service at this one. I accidentally left my bag on the counter and they called me to pick it up. Everything (including my wallet) was fortunately still inside. Thanks so much!!!

Worst experience at this pharmacy! My order was sent to the wrong pharmacy. They told me my medication was recalled but that was false. Then they told me they didn't have enough, but that was false again. They actually had the amount I needed. On top of that they were so rude and I had to wait one hour for something I needed urgently. I hate this pharmacy so much. They need to be more organized and know what they have behind the counter!

The pharmacy is ALWAYS understaffed and are generally disorganized They told me they would order something for me but never called to let me know if it had come in--this was a time-sensitive medical necessity. I rarely get through by phone. I hung up after being on hold for at least 15 minutes the last time I called. I would not recommend this pharmacy unless you really need to go here.

I have to get my rx filled at CVS because of the type of health insurance I carry so I have no other choice. I am so disappointed with the level of service I've come to receive and not only this CVS but other as well. I was on hold for 15min trying to reach a pharmacist. I hung up and called back as a referring physician and was on hold for another 5 minutes. Does cvs carry contracts with insurance companies and not care about losing customers due to poor customer service? I dread having to go there and will most likely be switching to mail order rx to save my sanity.

Very impersonal and rude pharmacy person. A few of the ladies there are friendly but there is one that is horrible, does not listen. She sent a refill to the wrong doctor before even confirming with me who it was from.

Bad pharmacy service. They took my prescription paper. Made me wait 20 minutes. Then told me they had to call my dr to verify. They said they called and didn't get an answer so I would have to come back. I gave them a call and they answered right away. Been here for almost 45 min and its like I have to fight for my prescription. I have a broken foot and I am just trying to get my meds. Vy is not helpful at all. Go somewhere else. I ended up getting them on the phone and finally got my prescription. What a pain in the butt. Ayiyi

This is the WORST pharmacy of all times!!!! I don't know why I continue to go back. I've had bad experiences in the past, but today was the worst. I needed a prescription filled today, and asked for a phone call when it was ready. They said yes, that they would call me. No call. I finally realized at 8:53pm that they hadn't called, so I called there to ask if the prescription was ready and they said yes. Huh! I jumped into my car wearing pajamas, and drove straight there. I called (over speaker) on the way to make sure that the person at the front wasn't planning to lock the doors early, but sure enough he was!!! I told him that I was a block away, and he told me that they were closed!!! It was 8:58. I pleaded with him repeatedly to wait, but he refused. I am just in utter disbelief that he actually continued telling me that they were closed. I could have easily had my prescription by 9:01, but I was turned away BEFORE the store was closed. Thank God this wasn't a life or death medication. I fear what could happen to another customer. I am APPALLED at the poor customer service and lack of concern!!! Zero stars!!

There must be a better way to dispense medication! Over an hour to get a couple of prescriptions filled. Someone please challenge the industry with the Uber for medication delivery- badly needed
