If I could give a zero star review I would. I never write reviews, but I had to for this guy. Absolutely rude from the beginning. He broke my windshield trying to fix something and then proceeds to say it's "half his fault." He then expected me to pay him to fix my windshield after he broke it!?!? This isn't even a real business, he just has half of a smog shop. Please whatever you do, do not come here. Absolutely terrible.

Be aware that Mike will personally yell at you over the phone if you call outside of business hours, such as Saturday morning, which is when I called him. I got my windshield fixed somewhere else, but was left feeling a bit hurt. Please learn how to use voicemail, Mike! :)

At around 9am on a Thursday morning, I backed my SUV into a storage unit and smashed the rear window liftgate to smithereens. I thought it was going to cost me days and $$$ to fix, neither of which I could afford. Mike's Mountain View Auto Glass had my car completely restored (*and* the mess cleaned out) that same day, for a really reasonable price. If you want to spend hours you don't have doing price comparisons, or you want to spend extra hundreds of dollars on high-profit-margin franchises, go right ahead. If you want a professional job done as fast as possible for the lowest possible price, go to Mike.

Mike is my new car door window doctor! Best price, knows his stuff, no nonsense. I’m so grateful for his quick and affordable fix.

Called to ask if they can replace a window and they rudely said "no, we don't mess with that." When we asked why, they said "pass" and hung up.

Has to be the best place in Mountain View area to get your windshield repaired. Mike is very responsive over the phone and will schedule you in last minute. He repaired the chip in my windshield and he was fast too. The price he quoted was lower than other places in the Bay Area and any commercial places too. Definitely would recommend for any auto glass repairs.

Before continuing with these guys, definitely get a quote elsewhere. My car's rear windshield got smashed in - Mike quoted me $2000 for the replacement. That sounded really high so I called 3 other places. of the places I called, they quoted me $1165, $1200, and $1300 for the same repair, which means that Mike's is /super/ overcharging. The cheapest quote ($1165) I got was at Low Price Auto Glass on Monterrey Rd in San Jose. My insurance worked with the Low Price based out of 1065 Commercial St so I went for that since it was basically a similar price (~$1300). I was initially nervous with the name of the store (lol) but they had ~270+ 5 star reviews so felt better about going with them. One thing I'll add about my experience with Mike's -- he was extremely rude on the phone -- super condescending and difficult -- sounded like a rude grandpa who just woke up from a nap lol. Would happily pay a cheaper price for better customer service elsewhere.

Mike identified the problem with my Chevy Volt's window regulator right away over the phone. I brought the car in with the parts and in 35 minutes he had the door apart, the window regulator replaced, and everything back together and cleaned! All without the price and hassle of a dealership. I would 100% recommend Mike.Service: Auto power window repair

TLDR: Mike has rude, a-hole attitude and is not punctual with time. Take your money elsewhere to decent human beings. Firstly, our interaction began through phone calls and texts, for a windshield chip repair for $65, ultimately confirming a 9AM Friday appointment on the Wednesday prior. At 8:50AM Friday I text him that I'm on my way, to give him a heads up. I arrive at 9:15AM and call him. He responds that he thought I was coming yesterday, to which I reply, "no, we confirmed through text for 9AM Friday". I could hear him grunting over the phone, saying "damnit OK i'll be there in 40 minutes". At this point I should have taken my business elsewhere but my apathy got the best of me since I was already there to drop-off the car and his price is cheap. I left my keys on his desk with my contact info as instructed by him. Fast forward to 2 hours later when I go pick up my car on my bike. As I park my bike behind my car, a man approaches from his pickup truck so I greet him. As I inspect the repair site, I can feel a cavity in the glass as I gently run the back of my fingernail along the glass, and ask him if that is OK or if it needs to be filled more thoroughly. He got SO defensive, scrunching up his face, asking what do you mean? this is silky smooth, man! He runs his finger over the site and says he can't feel a thing. I'm upset now, and insist that I can feel a cavity. Instead of trying to explain the repair, he scoffs and me and waves his hand with disregard for my concern. He reluctantly says "fine" and injects clear resin into the cavity, and demands me to back up my car into the sun. I was livid so I told him he's got bad attitude which I don't appreciate. I waited patiently for the resin to cure for a few minutes, he cleaned up the glass, I paid, and left.

Mike is very professional and super helpful. He did a great job on replacing my car glass and put extra efforts on cleaning the broken glass pieces inside the door panels. I highly recommend Mike’s shop for any auto glass replacement.
