On Sunday, December 18, we came to this store to shop for gifts for a group of people (same gift for all). When I went to check the price on a "Popcorn Movie night" large glass bottle filled with popcorn and other goodies, I felt pain and realized my middle finger was cut. It wouldn't stop bleeding. I approached the first stall at the counter and a man checking customers out gave me hand sanitizer. He also called a supervisor who brought first aid items. My finger kept bleeding as I stood trying to apply pressure. A roll of paper towels was brought. What I didn't realize after the clerk helped me put on a bandaid and I took her to look at the item on the shelf that cut my finger was that the bottle top was broken and someone put it back on the shelf. It ruined the experience of shopping in a store that feels unsafe. The cut on my finger w is an inch long.

This home goods store is awesome – it's big with two floors. Lots of choices and plenty of space to find just what you need!

I really like shopping at this location. They have a wide variety of selection and they're always with the seasons. But, the only thing that makes it hard to come back is the customer service from one specific employee. This employee is always rude and never seems to want to help. Which i find funny considering its in her job description, to help customers. Her name is Haydee. This location will never reach its full potential when people like Haydee are working there giving us bad customer service.

It is a very nice store, a lot of nice stuff to buy, but for about a month their restrooms are not working. This is not a store for a brief shopping trip, you spend a significant time over there. They should at least let the customers know that their restrooms are not working as you enter the store, not when you reach the area with your full shopping cart. Employees have access to the restroom (that would be illegal if they do not), but customers do not with the explanation that the restrooms are broken. They are closed with yellow tape over the doors. I do not find this place customer friendly.

just a shout out to the manager or assistant manager there. I beleive the persons name is Jean. Jean helped me resolve an issue early in July and i wanted to give them credit. usually stores like this specialize in 'no' when it comes to unique customer service issues but Jean was very customer centric

I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Marshall in Mountain View, which left me utterly dissatisfied with their service and lack of accountability. Despite being a regular customer, the incident that transpired during my visit was both frustrating and disheartening. Upon making a purchase and opting for a printed receipt, the cashier failed to return my $40 change. It wasn't until I attempted to pay at another store that I realized the mistake. Disturbed by this oversight, I immediately drove back to Marshall, a journey that took me an additional 15 minutes. When I confronted an employee about the situation and explained my predicament, I was informed that the manager had instructed me to return the following day. This was completely unacceptable as the next day happened to be my husband's birthday, leaving me with no time to spare. The employee's response, claiming that I was "killing her," was both unprofessional and uncalled for. I requested that they check their security camera footage to verify the incident. However, to my disbelief, I was informed that the camera was allegedly inaccessible. This response raised further concerns about the store's lack of transparency and unwillingness to address the issue. Another employee joined the conversation, but rather than addressing the issue at hand, she opted to blame me with a condescending tone, questioning why I hadn't checked my change before leaving. While I understand that mistakes can occur, the manner in which I was spoken to and the overall lack of empathy displayed by the employees were utterly shocking. It is evident that the staff at Marshall in Mountain View have not been adequately trained in customer service or basic professionalism. The incident not only highlighted their incompetence but also their unwillingness to take responsibility for their errors. Even though I have no expectations of recovering the misplaced change, I believe it is crucial for Marshall to be made aware of the abysmal level of service provided by their employees. I regretfully declare that I will never step foot in Marshall again due to this appalling experience. I sincerely hope that this feedback reaches the appropriate channels and serves as a wake-up call for Marshall to reevaluate their customer service standards and ensure incidents like these do not recur in the future, and address the accessibility of their security camera system to enhance transparency and accountability.
